I'll take my shot since Laley's luck ran out.
Reds fans can have fun with their game by game threads.

4 game series, Today and Tuesday in Cincy, then Cleveland for Wednesday and Thursday.
We'll run the whole 4 games through this thread

With Perez on the DL, it will be interesting to see who steps in to his role. All of the late inning guys have had their problems lately. I would like to see Allen get a shot.

Hopefully we get some decent cross-talk between Reds' and Indians' fans. For the first time in a long while, both teams would be playoff-bound if the postseason started today.

As for these games, IMO, the pitching match-ups are hugely advantageous to the Reds except for Wednesday.

Some Reds tidbits:

Shin Soo Choo is 1 for his last 24. Watch him go for 8+ hits in this series.
The Reds are 25-6 against teams under .500, 6-13 against teams over .500.

Not sure what to expect from this series....tribe has beaten up good pitchers and struggled against unknowns. The injuries keep mounting....but the loss of Perez is no big deal imo

It was more to the right of CF. Definitely deeper than straight away center. Definitely a bomb.

It's also measured for trajectory. It definitely can't go 462 feet, literally, without hitting something.

why did they pitch to Votto? walk the bases loaded and have force outs and a double play all around. but yeah, lets have our worst pitcher throw to their best hitter....

First of all, there's a reason that Hagadone was in AAA, and secondly, Santana's playing himself out of the starting catcher spot. Not only is he not hitting, but his lack of focus behind the plate is not good...at all.
