There's nothing worse than giving up on your teammates.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt on the injury, but it will be nice to have the opportunity to look at the bullpen without Perez. He has been given many opportunities over several years, and it is getting to the point where he has to prove that he can handle the job.

It's going to be tough for him when (if?) he comes back, especially at the Prog.

Another thing, it's very rare that you hear of an athlete "faking an injury" or "giving up on his teammates", so just the mere mentioning of it speaks volumes on Perez' reputation. Like I said, it's gonna' be brutal if and when he returns (until he strikes out the side for a save, that is)

Like him or not, It's not a good thing to lose your closer...especially one that has the long term numbers of Perez.

There's not exactly a line of people able to step in and fill his shoes. Pestano isn't even a 100% effective set-up man right now.

Well, I know the pen is all kinds of fucked up, but why is Hagadone in the game in the 8th inning of a tie game? Why is Joey Votto getting fastballs? Why, why, why? Just a few of the terrible decisions Tito made. Hagadone was demoted 2 hours ago for fucks sake cause he sucked ass. He is only on the team cause Perez is injured. Why is he even in the GAME!!!??

It seems like I see Hagadone's name in the list of transactions at least once a week. How many times has this kid been called recalled/designated/demoted this season?
