Agreed.

No it's true, he's not a very good defensive player. But the work ethic is there and I don't think he worked very hard on his defensive game at KU. He obviously would need to do that in the NBA. He has the athletic ability, so I don't see why he couldn't improve defensively.robj55;1446259 wrote:That looks good on paper but Ben at the 3 would be a problem, way undersized and not good enough defensively from what I've seen. Cant blame them for exploring options..Im sure somebody out there really likes Noel.
I did catch a few games but to me he is still raw and very mechanical with his footwork. I think a lot of that was due to situation, with all the injuries and Kyrie being hurt he was featured a lot more. That won't be the case when everyone is healthy so his holes will show when he has to be efficient night in and night out. Not saying he hasn't improved at all because he has, but marginally based on what I've seen. Thing is though, if you can get a center to pair with him that can score on the block then Tristan can just do what he is good at, rebound and block shots, without that I don't see him becoming what he can become, as that would allow him to just play a role. Unfortunately I don't think Nerlens would be the guy to do that for him.Pick6;1446262 wrote:A defensive anchor is exactly what the Cavs need, especially with Kyrie's ****ty D.
Also, rob, if you watched any Cavs games for the second part of the season last year, you would know TT's offensive game developed quite nicely.
Im happy if Andy is healthy. Im not happy with a guy who has missed 120+ games the past 3 seasons.SportsAndLady;1446270 wrote:I'm perfectly happy with Andy, Zeller, and TT for the 4 and 5.

Yet you wanna take Nerlens?Pick6;1446274 wrote:Im happy if Andy is healthy. Im not happy with a guy who has missed 120+ games the past 3 seasons.
To my knowledge, Nerlens only injury was an injury where he blocked a shot and then landed into the support of a basketball hoop. That's about as freak of an injury as there is.SportsAndLady;1446280 wrote:Yet you wanna take Nerlens?
No a freak injury is Kyrie's toe injury at Duke.Pick6;1446285 wrote:To my knowledge, Nerlens only injury was an injury where he blocked a shot and then landed into the support of a basketball hoop. That's about as freak of an injury as there is.
Why? You would rather have the #3 pick in a terrible draft?Trueblue23;1446237 wrote:Cavs get the #1 pick in a terrible draft. That sucks.
Yeah he's consistently been top 5 in mocks. his game IMO mirrors CP3 exactly almostwes_mantooth;1446272 wrote:Wow....burke is projected that high?! I mean, he is good, but wow
Agree to disagree then. Its not like he was cutting on it and it tore. He fell into a basket support.SportsAndLady;1446291 wrote:No a freak injury is Kyrie's toe injury at Duke.
Falling on your incredibly skinny knees and tearing your ACL is not a freak injury.
