We're in trouble, and I'm not just talking about tonight. We've got Masterson and McAllister. Period.

They can pull him anytime. He is going to get somebody hurt out there. Hunter about decapitated reynolds. Its like beer league softball down there at the hot corner.

I like how Verlander is shitty his first two innings, then after that dominant. When he takes his time he's not that good, when he's pitching like he's double parked he rolls through opponents

Myers in a AA rehab start tonight in Akron.

4.1 IP, 2 H, 3ER, 4BB, 2 Ks, a wild pitch and hit a batter in 76 pitches.

Huff looks awful as well. He has 2 on and a run already without an out in the 5th.

Clearly they were going to come back to earth. Would not have minded going to Boston and dropping 3 of 4 but losing to the Tigers at home when they were struggling stings.

After the rain delay the Tribe is trying to claw their way back. 9-7 now in the 7th.

well, not so much.
Huff looks awful as well.
David Huff has trashed two games in as many appearances. He took a close 2 run game yesterday, and in 1/3 of an inning managed to let the Kitties blow it open.

Tonite he pitched 1 inning and gave up 3 runs...SMH. Huff has had a lot of opportunities to prove he's a big leaguer. IMO, I'd be looking to move him or just outright DFA him and let him go. As far as I am concerned, he just pitched himself out of the organization.

I don't know all the rain rules. If they don't play, they will just call it after 7 and give the Tigers the win. It wouldn't be continued later, correct?

Putting your worst pitcher on the team in the game against Detroit in the fifth inning of a 6-2 game falls directly on the manager. tonight, Tito was a fucking idiot. Only a loser plays to lose in the fifth inning of a 4 run game. Manny Acta lives...

Well with Verlander pitching he probably figured it was over. Idk what's wrong with him, playing like a #5 starter the last 3 starts

Tigers sweep the hottest team in baseball. Raburn still hitless against the Tigers.....I couldn't stay up to watch it-but we'll take it!!!

He had a single in the 2nd inning and played in only the 2nd game lol I had a bad feeling about this series. The pitching matchups were terrible for the tribe. At least we got Masterson and z Mac going in Boston

Bad pitching matchups, so this isn't too concerning. On to the next.

I'm not ready to throw Tito under the bus, but if Huff just 'sucks a little' and gives up only 1 run in the 5th, maybe we go into that second rain delay tied and it's a whole different ball game. These were two games that experimenting with Huff and hoping for a hold from him really wasn't a good idea. IDK....maybe the Boston series is more important to Francona, and he wanted to go there with the best part of his bullpen fully charged.

I can finally post on a tribe thread, since they lost their first series in awhile. You can blame Terry Pluto for jinxing Kluber and losing game 1 btw.
