Penn State got a nice win over St. Johns. I think it's safe to say at this point that Tim Frazier is back to 100%.

GRIII is a fucking joke. He better wake his ass up or he'll be a 2nd round pick.

Indiana has some work to do in Big Ten play to secure an NCAA bid.

It will be tough sledding. That game VS Illinois is one they need to win but pissed it away late.
Yogi scored alot but had a couple of horrible passes late. They need another person to step and and be able to score.

Michigan football was highly disappointing this year. Why not basketball too?

As up-and-down as Indiana has been, I was very surprised that Michigan State rolled to a victory in that fashion in Bloomington. The Spartans haven't really beaten anybody like that this year, and have struggled mightily at home against some average opponents, so I expected a much closer game than what unfolded.

Sort of surprised by how down the Hoosiers are. They did lose a lot, though. You don't easily replace the talent they lost.

Sparty has been beat up early in the season. They are getting healthy now, and getting better. But I also expected IU to be better and give them a game. IU is young, but still a bit surprised they are not getting much better at this point. People have been down on MSU. But personally, I think this could be one of Izzo better teams when its all said and done. If the stay healthy that is. This team has a legit big time post player in Payne as well as plenty of players around him.

IU losing late to Penn State. They can't afford to drop one of these games given their next 3 of 4 are at Wisky, at MSU and vs Illinois.

If PSU could finish they'd be dangerous. I believe they've had a lead late in at least six games, and when they learn to close games out, they'll be a force.

Michigan State is such a perplexing team. I hate the "Tom Izzo teams just play better in March" argument. Why? When you have a really good team, like the Spartans do this year, why not play that way all year? While today is understandable with Payne out, it's a consistent thing with MSU on an annual basis. For as good as Izzo is, I just don't really get it.

State usually plays demanding schedules, but so do other top teams each year. It doesn't really matter, though, I guess when you have the results that Izzo does in the spring.

Barn burner in Evanston. Illinois 6/36 shooting, has 15 points with 16 minutes left.

At least Northwestern (9/32) is tearing it up.

Things of a more illogical nature have occurred. We saw that last year with TCU over Kansas. All it takes is one bad shooting night and one good shooting night and voila. Upset.

The Hoosiers have as much young talent as anybody, save for maybe a few teams such as Arizona, Kansas and Kentucky. As proven in the Connecticut game at MSG, Indiana's talent can beat good teams. They're just really young and unpredictable. They lost more than arguably any team in the country last year, and absent that veteran leadership they've struggled.

Bo Ryan has won 12 in a row over Indiana, but I think Wisconsin will be walking into a buzz-saw tonight.

Indiana hasn't beaten Wisconsin since 1983. I'll take them.

In all seriousness though, Indiana just turns it over too much and has a severe lack of scoring (outside shooting). If this game is close tonight for the Hoosiers to steal one, it will be almost 100% on effort and feeding off the crowd. But it will also take Wisconsin turning it over more than season average. Indiana is capable of playing tremendous defense, and with Jeremy Hollowell benched, they look better offensively (Robinson getting those minutes).

We shall see, but I begrudgingly say Wisconsin 77 - Indiana 62

Lol.

That Vegas line still scares me. It's so low. I'm a pretty superstitious guy when it comes to sports, and it just seems like one of those lines that I'll take and get fucked. Seen it happen so many times on "sure thing" bets like this.

Indiana within a basket of Wisconsin as half-time approaches, who could've known. Lol.

For all those here who predicted an IU win, I think this game just had that feel. Not over yet, but good call, vball.
