Of course Josh Pastner would pick tonight to get his first career victory against a Top 25 team. He was 0-for-14 up to this point (I believe).

Gotta love sports gambling.

Ohio State, by default, probably goes to the top 5.

How high does Nova enter the poll at? 7-0 with wins over KU and a ranked Iowa team this week.

Villanova should break the top 20 IMO. That was an impressive three days for the Wildcats. I'm pretty sure everybody pegged Kansas to win that thing in the Bahamas months in advance. Memphis will move into the Top 20 as well, with Baylor, North Carolina and Creighton being replaced (fucking Creighton dropping out altogether).

Haha those dumb fuckers in Lansing on their ticket website put the wrong date in the on sale thing online for their single game basketball tickets. It's December 2nd 2014 instead of 2013, and tons of people are pissed they cannot buy tickets. How do you mess up like that? Don't sell them at midnight if you can't get your website right

Great one going on from Gampel Pavilion in Storrs on ESPN2. UConn leads Florida 56 to 54 with about 3 and a half minutes to play.

Wow. Connecticut down three with under 40 seconds to play. Shabazz Napier pulls up from 25 feet, the basket drops and a foul. He'll be shooting for the lead.

That was garbage. Napier did not deserve a second chance at that.

Ironic that Florida, whose strongest asset this season has been its rebounding -- and it was that reason the Gators were winning this game -- loses after giving UConn three chances at the basket in the final five seconds.

Gotta credit Napier, though. Kid is my choice as the best point guard in America. Kid is just clutch.

How the hell is duke still in the top 10. They're like the sec school in football, need to lose 4 times to actually fall. I guess so I don't get the osu crap spewed back, I should mention osu should not be top 5. And yes I know duke played good teams and lost, but a 30 point loss should have a little more sting to it.

Gators have taken some lumps. IF they get to 100%, watch out.

Still basically missing 3 of their top 6 players, and a top 10 recruit. They are an incredibly deep team, IF everyone comes back.

Scottie Wilbiken went down tonight, and never returned. Rolled his ankle pretty noticeably. Hope he's not out long. I like watching that kid play. With Kasey Hill out with ankle issues, the backcourt is already thin. Losing Wilbiken for an extended period of time with Kansas looming on December 10 will ensure even more lumps.

Hell, they just got Scottie back 1 game after losing Hill.

Yeah, Florida is getting hit hard by Lady Luck. I'm hoping Wilbiken was just kept out as a precaution -- he was still sitting on the bench at the end, I believe -- because the Florida-Kansas game could have been really, really good. Definitely one of the marquee games heading into the season. Without him, Florida doesn't have a single ball handler who is reliable.

As for Duke, I actually thought this without a doubt would be the poll that the Blue Devils' streak of 220 straight weeks ranked in the AP Top Ten came to a close -- a streak that dates back to 2007 and is the second-longest all-time behind John Wooden's UCLA teams. After the near miss by Belmont and the loss to Arizona (albeit only by six in what was a close game throughout), I wasn't sure if they'd hold up.

After Michigan visits Duke tomorrow night, expect a whole bunch of streaks to end, including a non-conference home winning streak that goes back to February of 2000.

I think it'd be a tough task for Michigan to come into CIS and get a win tonight. McGary is really my only worry tonight, Duke may struggle stopping him but he hasn't been scoring much yet this year so who knows.

Stauskas' status is still up in the air. He may not play tonight for Michigan.

Duke at home by 6.

Uh, not sure if you have followed Michigan this season, but they have been less than impressive to start the season. I expect a 10+pt Duke win in this game.
