When you completely screw up a business decision, the best thing you can do is say "we really screwed this up and are going to fix it". I see about a 0.0000000000000000126% chance of that happening. The people running the site apparently purchased the founder's arrogance when they bought the site.

Exactly. At this point, they should own up to screwing things up terribly and apologize. But I think their pride is too great to allow them to eat crow, and the result will end up costing them a lot of money.

FACT.........the Puddle needs us more than we need them!

Even if they returned to a free chat site (which I doubt will happen), I have no interest in going back.

All I said, in a nutshell, was that the Huddlers weren't stupid, and it was very obvious that nearly all the traffic was on the free forums. Also, I said that they aren't tricking anyone having free forums to try to be able to show traffic to possible advertisers.

I like how Matt said my Google Analytic numbers on their site were wrong (page hits, unique visitors, etc) when Google charges good money for that service.

I've never seen the trivia forum there with posts from two days ago on the first page. Yeah, business as usual.

Yeah, that's the truth there. They'll never admit they screwed up and if they change things back, it'll just be under the guise of "Big news for Huddlers!" where they write it to make it look like they're awesome guys out for YOUR interest.

Regardless, I'm here and not there and that isn't changing. It's nice knowing that I won't get moderated in any way unless I actually deserve it.
