Don't worry, after tomorrow night the flamers will have the better part of 10 months to complain before the new season starts.

Is that a little bulletin board material I see this morning? Sounds like Haas has this game written down as a win.

And going from 3-7 to 4-6 is now "tangible progress". Oh my God... He might not be worse than McCreary (that's difficult if not impossible) but I don't know that he's much better. Tavy's story this week was inspiring, but they left out the part where he was glued to the bench for the first month and a half of the season because the head coach didn't recognize the young man has talent. He's gone from third string running back in week one to "all Tavy, all the time".

First 7 years vs. Wooster by Coach

Bill Shunkwiler - 1 win - 5 losses - 1 tie
Mo Tipton - 0 wins - 4 losses - 3 ties
Mac - 5 wins - 2 losses
Davault - 6 wins - 1 loss

I know the makeup of the rivalry has changed since the 50's and 60's, but thought this was very interesting.

I think Wooster is going to have to be able to throw the ball a little through the air to win this one. They have some serious athletes who can make plays if the ball is on the mark.

Very irrelevant! When Mo coached Wooster actually had a football program and now it is just a mere glimpse of one just like Orrville's-oops did I just say that?

He called Rittman a better program than Orrville because they practiced in full pads....so I'm sure he would prefer Dennis.

He would probably yell at kids (who aren't his son) on the sideline so that would make him an even better choice.

Somebody would need to yell! Kids respond to people who hold others accountable-#25 throws his helmet last Friday and NOBODY said jack! I can deal with change, I can deal with lack of talent, I cannot deal with lack of discipline and you shouldn't either but you are and will continue to do so. I called Rittman because they had a problem with kids coming out for the team. Their situation had less than 18 kids on the team. Yes I had an opportunity and passed on it. Not everyday does a guy that didnt play football get a chance to be an assistant on a varsity team. Maybe someday it will come around again and folks can bash me on chatter but guess what? It would be part of what I signed up for.

For the record, Wooster's downtown pep rally was cancelled because it was scheduled last night - when the monsoon hit. Not for lack of interest as is floating around.
