I was just saying that's what seems to have taken place to this point, not that it was right.

I mean, the other 2 have gotten away with murder up until today, so at least we've been consistent lol

I think one problem is that lotz, CoA, and like_that are capable of posting rationally, so they end up with more leeway for some reason. Their problem is, they can't handle anyone disagreeing with them, and jump anyone that does.

Didnt read everything here, but I think reporting a post and getting more than 1 opinion on an infraction might be the best way to go on all infractions from now on (obvious ones not withstanding). That way, at least more than 1 mod agreed and there is no "agenda" being pushed on any one poster by a mod.

NOTE: Not saying anyone has an agenda. But thats what they all think, so we can avoid that.

What happens when you report a post, but nobody see it for 8-10 hours, by then it's too late to infract.

I understand why its important to infract right away, but at the same time I dont. If you break a rule you break a rule. Maybe dont infract for anything after that broken rule, as maybe they thought it was ok since it was standing for so long. But the person still broke the rule on the initial post and infracting right away or a week later wouldnt change that fact.

Here we go again in the browns thread...

Jordo posts something that is mostly true (fans didn't like Chud in 2008) CoA makes a comment because it was jordo, I tell him don't start that shit, S&L immediately shows up to backup CoA

There's nothing I can do because its all within our rules, which is frustrating as shit

I believe that would fall within the "Don't continually harass other members" rule.

We don't have to like what people say. How else did isadore stay here for so long? I fucking hated that guy, but he pretty much never broke the rules.

ts is right though, it was completely unnecessary and uncalled for.

But allowed. I'm sure at some point, I've said something that someone else thought was "completely unnecessary and uncalled for." I probably felt differently, and I'm glad I was able to post it, regardless of their reservations.

But that's not the response you get every single time you post in a thread though. That is seriously CoA's reply to jordo everytime he says anything in the Browns thread, no matter what it is.

Exactly, the difference is a one time response versus constantly doing it to the same person.

Fair enough. That could fall under constant harrassment of another poster.

This is becoming a joke.

With all the other shit that is said, done or posted on this site you want to infract this? Get over yourselves. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this post, nor like_that's post the other day.

There was absolutely no reason to step in and say anything to coa. The thread moved on fine after his post, if anything it was the post telling him to stop that derailed it.

It is bullshit that jordo can't post anything on that thread though without that douchebag being an asshole about it. I also don't agree with a lot of the other stuff that's spewed throughout that forum either though.

Jordo deserves whatever comes his way with his past trolling. Want it to stop? Thread ban jordo.

I haven't really responded to Wildcats20 before as it is easy to tell he's on the side that Cleveland fans should be able to harass whoever they want.

No. I'm on the side of this is a fucking internet message board. Why the fuck do you take it so damn serious?

But what has he said on that thread that warrants a thread ban though? Trust me, I've looked. There isn't anything.

Exactly, it's an internet message board. Why do a few people take it so serious that they constantly are assholes to a few posters despite them posting harmless responses thus lowering the common denominator of acceptable behavior to the point posters leave (BR, TrueBlue, etc).

It's one thing to have a smart ass remark to a post when you actually post something that deserves it. It's another to have a person continually harass another regardless of what they post.

Why do you take it so serious to infract posts that aren't worth it?

Which post derailed the thread?

It wasn't coa's.
