CoA helped out a new member, by giving him guidance on where to discuss this particular Browns subject, since you know we actually know where everyone enjoys discussing the Browns. Notice how Clecon didn't bitch and immediately posted the same post in the Browns thread? He is now having good discussion on the Browns thread as well. Nice fail. Just a note on the thread. Obviously CoA did nothing wrong. He was a little brash, I was just trying to be welcoming to the new poster in my own way.
What like_that responded with was completely out of line in my opinion. It's one thing to have a difference in opinion (like CoA in that thread). It's another to just flat out be an ass.

That's how he pretty much responds to me every time. I was getting sick of so decided to put a stop to it as it's in the rules to not continually harass even mods.

But this time you really butted in for absolutely no reason to begin with. All the 2013 browns thread was about was the coaching search. Not to mention you were a day late in even responding.

I'm sorry, but there is absolutely no reason I should have to constantly put up with shit from Like_That. CoA at least responds normally sometimes. All I get from like that is name calling and personal attacks. I believe that falls into the continually harass category.
I stand by this infraction.

I would have probably just locked the thread had I seen it since the coach talk has been going on for weeks in the offseason thread. That would have avoided them ever responding, but hindsight is 20/20

I agree that this is a weak infraction. Other members say much worse to non-mods and no infractions are handed out. The "harassment" rule, as I see it, is to keep people from following others around into threads and dropping nothing but an off-topic insult or attack.

Arguably, this is all CoA and LT have done for the past 24 months with jordo, dynasty, and F4F

That's pretty much what like_that does to me though. I would have had someone else do the infraction on your behalf so it doesn't make you look whiny to them.
I agree with the general premise of the infraction, I just don't know if that was the post/thread to do it on.

I agree that there are worse things he said. I think the spirit of the continually harass rule is perfectly in line with the infraction. Well the general premise of continual harassment doesn't seem in doubt. Some of you think I should have either waited for a more serious attack from him or just had another mod do it. But I did what I did.
We can either reverse it, which I don't think it should be done as it is warranted under the rules in my opinion. Or we can just let it stand. It's a month ban to the basement. It's not the end of the world.

I don't know why, but most of the mods seem to enjoy like_that and CoA. They should be in the basement for all the unprompted attacks on jordo and dynasty. I'm not sure this was infraction worthy, but I don't care what happens to like_that or CoA.
