Lol, I'm sure this isn't the first, or last, kid that'll try this ploy. Unfortunately, his "visit" couldn't have come at a worse time.

Williams looks stupid for this. Blue and Gold Illustrated also looks stupid. You would think after the Te'o thing that sports journalists would have learned that they should do their homework before they print a story.

Notre Dame picked up a commitment from a punter for a preferred walk on spot. Andrew Antognoli was committed to Harvard for football.

Looks like its down to adding Vanderdoes or bringing back another 5th year guy at this point. Folston visited Auburn a couple weekends ago and had been in contact with coaches since then, but supposedly told the Auburn staff last night he was going to Notre Dame. Probably not over at this point still, hopefully Alford stays in the area as long as allowed.

I still think we have a good shot at fitts also. I dk if we will take both vanderdoes and fitts. The obvious take no matter what is vanderdoes. I'm hoping

I think they can take both, just not bring back another 5th year guy. I just think the best shot is with Vanderdoes. Fitts seems to be pointed to UCLA. Who knows, lot of crazy shit can happen these last few days.

NCAA is expected to make a decision on Slaughter's appeal for a 6th year by Wednesday also.
