NFL network Ian Rapoport reporting the lawyers will join Chip and#Browns at dinner tonight. Looks like contract time.

Well, this is awkward. Chip Kelly and the Browns are having dinner at the restaurant that just hired me as a waiter.

RT @brianstartare: Sources tell me Chip Kelly and the eagles are close to an agreement on a 5 year deal. If I'm right I'm golden. If wrong my source is fired.

Yeah, lots of talk of Kelly to Philly on twitter....really picking up steam. I am pretty indifferent to him...so I am fine either way.

Only thing that scares me is that it seems they had everything in on Chip, so what (if anything) would be Haslam's Plan B?

Apparently Arians is pissed he didn't get an interview from the browns. He really wanted the job

Sweet, plan B is hire a college coach that I had no idea existed before Wednesday from a school that isn't that good.

Let me just pause a second and say that the Browns brass is really#battling in their coaching search right now.

Won't be disappointed if the dont land Kelly. I just want a coach that can put the players we have in the best position to succeed.

Seriously, Doug Marrone. A guy who went .500 at Syracuse University. Now THAT is what I call #progress.

I believe so, the NFL won't stop it... it's up to the teams (for example, Shanahan isn't letting his assistant's interview until they lose)
