Just like Grimes shoudln't prevent them from drafting a CB.Commander of Awesome;1414131 wrote:Trade back. Also I dont think Butler (backup) should keep us from drafting a future stud pro bowl caliber OLBer. If it does, lombardi should be fired.

Brent Grimes - DB - Falcons
Free agent CB Brent Grimes is not expected to land with the Buccaneers.
Bucs beat writer Rick Stroud expects Grimes -- the top cornerback left on the free-agent market -- to head to Cleveland or Miami. Last week, the Browns were reported to have offered Grimes a multi-year contract. Details of the Dolphins' offer, assuming they've made one at all, are unclear at this time.

I don't want a guard at 6...at all. And regardless of who the Browns sign in the offseason, which Butler left today with nothing, the Browns are basically going ot go BPA, so a CB or OLB would still be drafted if they think that person is the best.

So if you have Jordan and Milliner sitting there at 6 who are you taking?iclfan2;1414417 wrote:I don't want a guard at 6...at all. Depends if we sign grimes. If we sign grimes. Trade down if we can. If not Jordan

Heck, at this point, we might as well just splurge and take the next Sebastian Janikowski at #6...SMITTEMS;1414434 wrote:So if you have Jordan and Milliner sitting there at 6 who are you taking?

I'm seeing more and more guys moving Jordan down their draft boards; some are even moving him outside the top 10.Crimson streak;1414436 wrote:Depends if we sign grimes. If we sign grimes. Trade down if we can. If not Jordan

I'm pretty sure there was a report out there that said the browns will definitely go offense with their first round pick. So all your theories are pretty much shot. I bet it's a tight end or Warmack through a trade down.

Not everyone obviously, I've just been seeing more guys starting to doubt his effectiveness at the next level. He's obviously one of the top physical talents in the draft; it will certainly be interesting to see how he adjusts to the pro game.like_that;1414463 wrote:Really? I haven't.

Are there teams looking to move up to #6? I thought it was going to be tough since 5-25 are basically all the same grade.DeyDurkie5;1414485 wrote:...through a trade down.

Says Mike Mayock months ago. After the combine and pro days, teams get an idea of who they want. Look at the top ten prospects. 5 of them will be available. Look in the 12-20 range and find me a couple teams who wouldn't benefit from one of these guys..Sonofanump;1414548 wrote:Are there teams looking to move up to #6? If we took a TE at 6 I would be pretty pissed.DeyDurkie5;1414485 wrote:I'm pretty sure there was a report out there that said the browns will definitely go offense with their first round pick. So all your theories are pretty much shot. I bet it's a tight end or Warmack through a trade down.

Agreed, unless he turned into the next Gronk, but let's be honest, there's only one Gronk. Browns brass came out yesterday and said they see Jordan Cameron as their starting TE. I would put a sizable wager on the fact that we WON'T draft a TE at 6.Commander of Awesome;1414703 wrote:If we took a TE at 6 I would be pretty pissed.

Gronk is solid, but also made of glass. I want players that can actually play of the season.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1414718 wrote:Agreed, unless he turned into the next Gronk, but let's be honest, there's only one Gronk. Is it just me, or does this dude just like having his balls touched? This is like his 3rd or 4th physical over the past week.
Victor Butler - LB - Cowboys

This. I don't want a TE at 6. Maybe a WR if we can't trade down.Commander of Awesome;1414703 wrote:If we took a TE at 6 I would be pretty pissed.

None of these WRs are worthy of a top 6 pick. The draft is shallow on skill position players this year. I would hate to repeat some of the mistakes previous regimes made by passing on a virtual lock in order to reach on a skill position player. We can't afford to miss any longer. I would even rather take Milliner than a WR at 6. Now, if we trade down, then it would be another story.sleeper;1414780 wrote:This. I don't want a TE at 6. Maybe a WR if we can't trade down.

Let's GTFO with this TE in the first round business. Gronk wasn't even a first round pick AND he has Brady throwing to him. Some of you guys need to hide your chubby's because Chud is a TE guy. Just because he is a TE guy doesn't mean he is going to turn any TE into gold.
