Bobcats have lost the last 4 of 5....and now are 0-3 on the road.....
Was the MAC and NCAA run a fluke?
Was this team over-hyped to start the season?
Was last year's success mostly a result of Groce's coaching?
Was Christian not a good hire?
Anyone got answers?

My opinion is that Ohio is a team that is either really hot or really cold shooting the 3. They live and die by it. They got really hot last year at the right time, which is really all that matters. Its looking like the are missing Groce as well. Seeing that he has Illinois to a great start.

Yeah. I doubt it's a coincidence that all of a sudden Illinois went from chronic underachievers to being a Top 10 team...while OU went from being a Sweet 16 team with everyone back to a team that's seemingly unable to beat anyone.
Part of it is what Pick 6 said. They aren't a post-oriented team and do live and die by the outside shot and they've had games (in particular, Winthrop) where everyone has been cold. But I think coaching has to have something to do with it. Not saying Christian's a bad coach...just saying that I think Groce is an exceptional coach in the making and the type that's hard for a small college to replace.
