When did the new "cool" thing to do become suiting up in body armor and then going and shooting up a public place? Seems anymore there are just lines of pyscho's ready and waiting for their turn as this is happening far too frequently.
The fact it was done in a school is more horrific.

My guess is he was going to lose his child in divorce or something, and so he decides to take revenge on society by taking as many of their children from them as he can.

I'm not even a parent and this has me rattled. I cannot even begin to understand or quantify this.

I don't think a person planning on taking out a bunch of kids is really too concerned with what society is going to think about their decision-making process. You probably aren't caring about taking the path of lesser evil by that point.

How do you deal with the trauma for the kids that survived? How do you explain it? Even sadder when you realize at least a few of these kids are going to end-up really screwed-up from this. Parents, too. They are going to feel so powerless and unable to protect their children.

I think this pretty much sums up a lot of our feelings. Whether you're a parent or not, it's hard to wrap your head around something like this. It's incomprehensible.

more gun control bs coming from the media, great. Not bad enough that we have this terrible tradegy, they will use it to press their agenda further.

Obviously it has been said over and over here. But I am literally sick to my stomach. I really lose more faith in humanity every day.

This has made me physically sick. Not that killing anyone is acceptable, but to walk in somewhere and murder defenseless children takes a special kind of sick.

If people can't even rely on a Kindergarten classroom anymore to assume you are safe then there is no where safe in this country.
A movie theater, meeting your congress person at the grocery store, now this kindergarten classroom.......these are benign places that one would expect reasonably they don't have to be on the lookout for crazed gunmen. Yet these have been the sites of the most recent massacres.
We had guns in the 40's,50's,60's as well, why does it seem only the last 15-20 years that this kind of thing has all the sudden gotten out of hand? Why didn't this used to happen back in the day? It's not like people having access to guns is anything new, yet it seems the problem has gotten alot worse.

They need to leave these poor kids alone. Stop interviewing them
