This will likely be one of the last cool things to see at St. John Arena. When is it scheduled to be torn down?

I don't know but it sucks. Gonna have to see if any events are going on there when I'm home for Christmas. Gonna miss that place. Hs games, vball games, and osu bball games there were awesome!!

The only thing I've ever been to there was the HS Basketball State Finals. We used to go every year when I was little. I used to love that place.

They should have osu play a couple games in there before tearing it down. And make them good games. The nuthouse in the bleachers, and that place would be rocking!!

Would love to attend to cheer on Shazier(the best LB in the country by far) and John Simon(the best defensive player in the country). Unfortunately, I will not be attending but I'm sure Buckeye nation will show up and give these guys the honor they deserve.

They absolutely need to tear down St. John's.

The plan in place right now is to bring over all of the West Campus activity and put it there. It makes sense for students (read: who the university really functions for). They need to tear up that stupid Jesse Owens thing in front of Ohio Stadium, and in general replace the shitty 90's brickwork everyone walks on. Continuing the walkway through Lane Ave is a must though, it'll be an amazing terminated vista.

That is to be built north of of the Schott, per the masterplan. Ohio State is building an Olympic-esque athletic village and facilities as good as anywhere in the world. It's going to be absurd.

I was reading the Olympics could be held in Columbus at some point in the future. That would be fun to see!

This is the first I've heard of any of this....out of the loop.

So wtf is the purpose of this new arena?

Does OSU ever stop building? I was just on campus for the first time in about 2 years. Holy fuck...the hospital is ridiculous.
