He comes from Waterloo where his "high water mark" was 7-3. In 2012, he finished 3-7 with a 2-5 record in the Portage Trail Conference beating some poor teams and losing to some good teams, most notably the State Semi-Finalist Mogadore Wildcats.

More important than Mager returning for Hillsdale is whether or not their huge line will be back. That has been their biggest advantage the last several years - a huge offensive line. If that's gone, they could be hurting.

Hey Pitman- is the money for your new turf going to be private money or is it school funds? Is this going to try and be done by 2013 season?

How is everyone's off-season workout programs going? Are teams going to take the Norwayne approach and bring in a drill sergeant to increase the toughness of their athletes, or are they going to stick with more traditional approaches with in-house lifting instruction and plyometrics?

Kind of boring around here without football to excite the masses!

even with football this thread died in 2012.

Can we go back to 2011?

The vocal minority, aka a few Smithville & Dalton fans, complained when the guys that carried the thread would go off topic. The response of the guys who carried the thread, the ones who gave opinions on everything, then either stopped or severely curtailed posting.

The downward spiral continued when the complainers stopped or cut way back on posting because their hometown teams weren't very good and they lacked the ability to talk about anything else.

That left us with a Norwayne thread. Not that it was a bad thing, but I enjoyed hearing about the other teams and I miss the humor.

I hope everybody comes back for 2013.

We "off topic" talkers started a Facebook page...no "fake names" and "hidden" opinions. Its quite enjoyable. People have balls to state their opinion with their face/name! No hiding behind a keyboard.

I admit, the FB page is a little harder to follow trains of thought. I prefer the vBulletin format.

Wish we could have it both ways.

Just seen on JJ Huddle that 5 Norwayne players were selected to play for the Ohio North South Classic, Zimmerly, Berger, Scruggs, Knierem(SP) and Croftcheck.

Seems about right to me they have been loaded the last few years. From what I hear it is not going to end any time soon.

Yeah like his 4 posts on here would add anything to "our" site. We did have a nice 97 post thread on this bemunsey character though didnt we? He needs to keep getting his gossip and his lurk on at Mrs. J's and we will just carry on without the lurkers who couldnt handle Red Rum's humor.
