Once he gets more comfortable with his offense, he's going to be very, very good.

Thompson reminds me a lot of David Lighty. It took him a couple years to really get comfortable, but he was very good his last couple years.

Big game today for OSU. Would be a huge first road win. Unfortunately, I like Illinois in this one, because of their opening game loss. I think they come out fired up for the home opener.

I won't be surprised if Illinois wins.

I think OSU is better, but I honestly think only Indiana has a favorable road schedule, but I havent looked at anyone outside of OSU and UofM in depth schedule wise. But IU is VERY frontloaded so when they hit the meat of the games (road that is) they should be more battle tested than say OSU having to go to Illinois today. This conference is going to have a big time match-up 5 nights a week. Just awesome.

We look like shit and Illinois is making everything including fadeaway jumpers from the big men from 15 feet. Gonna be a blowout

I'm so sick of Aaron Crafts offense I can't even enjoy his defense anymore.

Read somewhere that Bilas said Scott is one of the top perimeter defenders in the country ahead of teammate Craft. Said Crafts horrible offensive execution is leading to frustration and then defensive breakdowns. I havent watched enough OSU because their games were all blowouts lol, but is that true?

We just aren't very good. It's really that simple. This will be a tough year. A tough year but will be huge for their growth. Luckily Thomas is the only guy we lose.

Though if they called it, no one would have cared or argued, but technically it wasnt since it was not a shot attempt. Same way if it had gone in, it would only have counted as 2 pts. Again, the refs never enforce the rules that way cause of the backlash of people who dont know them and the ambiguous determination of what a shot attempt actually is.

Ive thought for at least a month now that Shannon Scott is a better option than Craft. Everyone says Crafts defense is way better, but Scott is a damn good defender and has more steals than Craft in a lot less minutes played. Scott isn't exactly Chris Paul on offense but think he's much better in transition and can get things going. I'm just sick of seeing this team struggle on offense with Craft. It isn't all his fault but his numbers against Duke and Kansas tell the story to me.

Illinois doesn't need any help from the refs. But they're getting it anyway

Thomas is the only guy on this team that can put up points

LaQuinton Ross is awful, I was really expecting more from that kid.

No decent post player and it shows...

This one is embarrassing. Matta looks really ticked.

This OSU team lacks leadership, which is a huge problem. Craft has been really frustrating to watch lately, and eventually Matta has to sit him. Yes he's a good defender, but he's awful offensively right now.

Agreed, and as I mentioned earlier, it's going to be a long, looong season.

I think this team should go 10-6 in conference, Craft needs to be a 6th man/energy guy however
