Amedeo scored 27 points w/ the game winning 3 pointer in the FIBA 20U tournament. Hopefully he can produce for the Bucks this year. It would be nice to have another Diebler-type out on the court.

I've said it early, I will say it again, Loving is a monster and will get big playing time at OSU. Reminds me a lot of ET actually, who is the best player at OSU I've ever seen(I'm 21)

Good get for Matta??

Five-star power forward Mickey Mitchell made his college choice on Thursday. He plans to leave the state of Texas to join up with a family member at Ohio State.
Mickey Mitchell will join his older brother at Ohio State. Mitchell, a five-star prospect out of Plano (Tex.) Prestonwood, committed to Thad Matta and his staff on Thursday. Mitchell's brother is a freshman linebacker on the football team.
"Mickey is 100 percent a Buckeye," Ken Mitchell told Scout.com about his son.
Joining his brother was always something that the younger Mitchell wanted to do, and on his unofficial visit he decided to pull the trigger.
"Mickey called me earlier and was discussing the plusses and minuses," said the elder Mitchell. "I just told him it was his decision and he had to do what was best for him. Obviously he felt Ohio State was the right place."
A host of schools courted Mitchell, including Kentucky, Stanford, Oregon, Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas, Louisville, Virginia, A&M, USC, UCLA and UNLV.
At 6-foot-8, 245-pounds, Mitchell is a hard playing power forward. He gets after it on the glass, is active on both ends and likes to face the rim for scoring opportunities. Mitchell missed his sophomore season due to a torn ACL injury.
Ohio State now has a pair of commits in their 2015 recruiting class. Mitchell joins Dayton (Ohio) Dunbar lead guard A.J. Harris to make up their current class.
Mitchell is currently ranked No. 15 overall in the 2015 class.

Kid looks pretty freaking legit when you take into account this is from his freshman year. As long as the ACL injury doesn't hurt his explosiveness he looks like he'll be pretty damn good.

He is listed as a PF, I've seen anywhere from 6'6 to 6'8. Very athletic w/ guard skills when it comes to handling the basketball. Likes to score facing and driving to the basket. I believe he is old for his grade, but that would have no effect to how he performs on the summer circuit. It was mentioned somewhere his dad stated he would play guard at the next level, which when you watch his skill set on his highlight video seems to fit. Not sure if he can shoot the rock at all, but he still has 2 years before he arrives in Columbus, so if they want him to play on the perimeter he has plenty of time to improve that skill. Very exciting get for the Bucks, 2015 could be a phenomenal class if they can still add Bragg and Kennard.

The ONLY downside to getting a 5* is if it hurts in getting other 5*s.

This could hurt with Carlton Bragg and Malachi Richardson, which in turn, would be good for IU :D

But, I dont think it will. Braff and Mitchell are similar but not the same, so they could play together. Richardson is more similar to Mitchel, but I still think they can come to Columbus and play together right away.

Yeah, I don't think Matta will do anything to hurt his chances for Bragg. Him and Mitchell are different enough that they could play at the same time like you said.

I saw on one of the OSU sites, maybe the Columbus Dispatch that AJ Harris is saying Carlton Bragg is looking to join their AAU team. That would be a badass team with VJ King, Luke Kennard, and Carlton Bragg, and would have to think that means good things for Ohio State. If they can get Bragg and Kennard that would be an awesome year combined with Tate, Bates-Diop, and Russell in 2014.
