Worst performance by the Buckeyes and many years. Looks like this team has tossed in the towel.

Well that sure wasn't any fun. My thoughts: Williams should be buried as deep on the bench as possible, and Ross and Thompson should not attempt to dribble, especially in traffic. The Bucks took a huge step backwards today, and it also appeared a couple of guys quit. Not good.

Blame doesn’t solely lie with the defense, though. On Sunday, Ohio State had its lowest scoring output of the season and shot less than 40 percent from the field. Take away Deshaun Thomas’ stats and Ohio State only made one-third of its field goal attempts.

OSU will be lucky to make it past the first weekend in the tournament. This is just not a well balanced team; it's DeChuck Thomas and then it's Thad Matta.

And yes, the way they're playing now, they will fall to a low seed like that. The way they played NW, the road game with them isn't a sure thing and nearly every other game is against a quality team.

I still see sweet 16.

They'll start firing in the B10 tourney and lose in the finals.

Lose in a close sweet 16 game.

I agree they'll get to the SS ...mattas a good coach, he won't let them get knocked too early. But elite 8 seems to be their peak.

Disagree about the big 10 tourney. No way they make it to the finals..they'd have to beat either iu or msu..and that ain't happening.

Outside of some flashes of Ross, once Deshaun leaves, who's going to score the ball? I like Thompson, but he's just an athlete not a great rounded player. The recruits coming in look underwhelming as well.

They need to win some games in order to make the tournament. Nothing is a given with this team because the offense is so inconsistent.

At this point they'll be a 6 or 7 seed I'm guessing, so I expect them to win in the first round and then at that point it just depends on who the 2 or 3 seed is that they'll play. I'm just damn glad that they won't see another B1G team until the Elite 8 at the earliest.

Just depends who shows up and if we can make something inside 10 feet.
I haven't given up hope, our perimeter D will keep us in the tourney longer than some think.
We had look after look after look vs Wisky and nothing fell. Craft, Scott all got in the lane and couldn't convert.

I think they are already in. The seed is still up for grabs but I'm hoping for a 6 seed at best.

I think they are in also, but they need to start winning some games. A loss to Minny Wednesday night would be very hard to swallow. There is only 1 guaranteed win(IMO) left on the schedule and that is @NW, which is not necessarily a guarantee with the way they both played a week ago.

They could potentially finish the season 1-5(counting Wisky). Making them 19-11 and 8-8. With only 2 wins on the schedule that stick out. It would put them on the bubble, the strong side of the bubble, but the bubble.

They were a 4 in Lunardi's bracket from Friday, it's not updated yet, but I assume he will have them on the 5(possibly 6) line and dropping.

I saw one that I found on Yahoo Sports where they were a current 7. Thought that was a tiny bit low for right now, but another iffy week would probably put them there. Or even this week, if it's a close win over Minn followed by a double-digit home loss to MSU.

CBS has them as a 6. I think that is probably most accurate as of right now, waiting for Lunardi.

I think we are in if we don't lose out and that includes the B1G tournament.
