He'll take a year off from winning Heisman's and then win again his Jr. year.

Can't argue this Heisman. Teo had possibly one of the greatest seasons ever defensively, Manziel was one of the best QB's and one of the best rushers this season. Just like Tebow a few years ago

Since he's a redhsirt freshman, he can declare after next year--it's doubtful, but who knows?

Manziel completely cost Texas A&M a game against LSU. He was beyond terrible in that game, 3 int's, nothing on the ground, shitty completion %. And then Texas A&M also lost another game that Manziel was at best average in.

Oh well, you could see the writting on the wall before tonight.
So how many defenses did Klein go up against that are even in the same galaxy as UF and Bama? When's the last time there wasn't 500 Big 12 QBs that put up big numbers?

What I find really funny is last year the big 12 sucks its an offensive league with no no defense and they would get blasted by sec teams. Since now Texas a&m is in the sec there just so great since they lit up bama and other sec teams but yet all the other big 12 teams suck. It's really comical

Johnny Man-zier will not sniff this thing again. His QB coach will bail on him and head to TX Tech and they will easily lose 3 - 4 games the next few years like they usually do.

What I find funny is people still try and dispute the fact that the SEC has been superior the last like 8 years.its also been pointed out how poorly A&M did against 2 out of 3 of the good D's they played.

Also nobody is claiming all the big 12 teams suck but it's and absolute fact that the top SEC defenses are better than what the big 12 has to offer.

Can't disagree more. Great season? Yes. One of the greatest? Get out of here with that ignorance.

It works both ways.

Big 12: Great offenses and terrible defenses statistically
SEC: Great defenses and terrible offenses statistically

Definitely correlation, but hard to determine causation.

I wasn't around last night, but mad props for thinking I was trolling you from a different username.

But yet we heard all last year how Oklahoma st wouldn't be able to score on lsu or bama but yet Texas a&m comes in and does very well against the sec defenses. I just find it extremely funny

Good post. I think the SEC defensive rankings are due in part to the pathetic offenses that litter the conference.

Congrats to Johnny F, well deserved.

2 things. Manziel played fine against UF. It was a damn good game. His stats were significantly better than Klein which put him over the top. I'm actually surprised he got 3rd.

I was expecting Manziel, Klein, Te'o.

Only stat he had less of was INTs, say what you will about Te'o winning the Heisman... But I don't believe there is any question as to which LB had the better season out of the two

Don't forget about solo tackles. Manti had more. Shazier's total tackle number was inflated because he had 70 assisted tackles. That tells me that he was just a pile on guy. So you have to take his total number with a grain of salt.

Just another reason why you can't strictly go off of numbers when deciding the Heisman.

Te'o lost.
