Who the hell remembers or even cares who the AP NC is? The only one that matters is the BCS unfortunately.

Next year when everyone starts talking about "who will be the 2013 national champions" will they refer to the 2012 AP winner as the team to beat or the BCS champions?

The AP winner will be barely a footnote in the record books. Until the AP poll is factored into the BCS equation, it's all worthless media fluff.

How can this be true because USC was always recognized in the same breath when discussing champions as the BCS champ in 03-04. Seems like you are being illogical

Seems like no one gives a shit about the ap poll but you. As for the question the ap won't give Ohio state the title simply because of the sanctions. And Ohio state should accept the ap title if they do. Ohio state dug there own grave for this year

I don't really care for people rankings I just love how last week Rydawg didn't even have FSU in his top 10 but now has them at 5 and he had Clemson at 7 but now has them at 11.
