Obama is going to win the latino vote nationwide because he'll give amnesty/immigration reform. Most latino families are strongly conservative, if the Repub party would jump on the amnesty boat bet they'd get more love.

Do you ever think there will be a time where online voting will be secure enough to happen and prevent this kind of thing? Sorry if this has already been discussed...I typically don't read this forum...and am not as well informed on politics as most.
The ones who do read and post here aren't either, but it's never stopped them.

Something has to be done though with voting. It's become clear that at least in presidential years, we're doing it wrong. Could you imagine the lines if early voting was not allowed?

nationwide? Where's Obama leading? CNN and FOX both having Romney ahead in the popular vote and electoral college.

Does it matter? CNN/Fox/whomever won't determine the winner.

Amnesty is irrelevant if you don't have secure boarders. We would be in the same situation in a shorter period of time than we got to where er are at now with illegal immigrants.

71% in and Obama is only up 13,000 votes in Florida, per CNN.

I know that, but you can't tell me that the willingness of the Dems to grant amnesty anyway isn't a large part of why they get the latino vote.

A lot of it has to do with the poll workers. i had to stand there and argue with the poll worker for 15 minutes because my address on my ID didn't match my registration. The address on the roll was correct though. I showed them the Ohio SOS website which specifically states that if it is correct on the roll and not on the ID, it doesn;t matter. Their response? "well that isn't how we were trained"

I wouldn't tell you that at all. I also wouldn't support a politician on an amnesty suggestion. It's not a solution.

The issue is that most volunteers are really old. It took 5 minutes for them to check me in. It should have taken about 45 seconds

Word is Ohio will be called for Obama pretty soon. I guess the margin will be bigger than Johnson's vote total, so you will have to find someone else to blame.

you should be able to log onto a secure website for national elections with your name, SS#, and DOB from anywhere that you can access the internet and cast your votes.

If Romney loses Ohio, you can pretty much call the election

I agree with this. But people aren't going to take off work to man polls for very little money, which is why senile retired people do it.

Issues 1 & 2 going down by a large margin, obviously.

Way too easy for fraud. You know how many people have access to that info for lots of people?

Anything on the recreational marijuana issues that were in a couple of states? I am really intrigued whether they are even close to passing
