The last drive showed why Alabama is so good. LSU had no answer for the ground and pound. McCarron is good, but he's great with the position he is put in by the other offensive asapects.

Monster turnover by Bama. That's how you lose games you should win. Can the Bayou Bengals capitalize?

Exactly why people say "huh?" about Les Miles. In a game expected to be low-scoring...he tries that on 4th and 12 in FG range. Baffling.

Sorry, Optimus Klein here.

But, I really think Bama just clinched it there,
LSU has no WRs, and cannot do anything really of consequence on offense.

That is the quietest I have ever heard Tiger stadium at night., There was even a Roll Tide chant.
If Bama scores points to start the half, game over.

I will be as soon as the award is given to the player deemed the best game manager in college football.

McCarron is more than a manager, but he's NOT one of the top 3 QB's in the country. He deserves an invite to NYC if Bama is unbeaten (and you have to give the guy credit, 19 TD's and 0 INT's), but not to win.

What Collin Klein has done thus far is incredible.

LSU has no chance to come back. They havent scored a td in 3 games so far against them, so they wont score 2 2nite. Copeland cost LSU points for a personal foul by the 10 yard line, Miles with the stupidest play of the year, and a bunch of dropped passes. Cant do that against Bama. LSU looked good the first 3 drives, but now they are falling apart. Game over. I was surprised to see how many jr and senior starters Bama has. Maybe they will be down a little next year. Nah.

Bama's offense only loses 3 starters, all lineman. I don't see McCarron leaving and their skill players on offense are all young.

On defense, they lose a few experienced guys but they are playing a ton of Sophomores this year. I can't see the defense dropping much.

Hell, next year they may be better...

Seemed like I seen more seniors. They will lose underclassmen to the draft. They lost alot last year, but aint missing a beat. LSU only has 7 starters starting right now who started last year against Bama. And if last years couldnt win, this unit is not going too. LSU is very young this year.

Bama only has 4 guys who are Juniors and could be big losses if they leave. Millner is probably gone, so I counted him as a departure. Lacy might leave, but he's easily replaceable. If Millner were to somehow stay, they would probably field the greatest back 7 Bama has ever had. Depriest, Dickson and Mosley would be an absolutely sick linebacking corp.

Offensive #'s are probably about the same. LSU needs to convert on at least one turnover.
