You would have to wonder what Arizona is doing...they could get more for Bauer I'd think. Hell, the Reds would probably deal Gregorious for Bauer easily...

I'm sure the tribe would add in another player but they really seem to want to get rid of Bauer. They don't like his attitude but with Francona here I don't think he will be a problem.

If you guys get Trevor Bauer, then this trade becomes a win for you guys as well. Bauer has big potential and you'll only have one more year of Choo anyways.

Is Bauer Major League ready? I know he got some starts end of the year and got roughed up a bit. Will he make the Tribe rotation or start in AAA?

He is major league ready. So is Skaggs. I would honestly rather have Skaggs but Bauer is pretty damn good.

Why do you other Tribe fans wanna pay that type of $$$ for Nick Swisher? I dont think he is worth the $$$ he is asking for. I thought the same about Youkilis and glad the Yankees got him for that $$$.

Looks like its gonna be a 3 way deal. Choo and Donald to cinci. Stubbs, Bauer or Skaggs to Cleveland and gregorious to Arizona. Possibly another player to Arizona also

I believe the Indians will get Bauer or Corbin, not Skaggs.

Yeah it seems they are not willing to part with Skaggs for anything which sucks cause he's gonna be a stud

Plus playing 'Lowdown' while he warms up would be awesome.Crimson streak;1340776 wrote:Yeah it seems they are not willing to part with Skaggs for anything which sucks cause he's gonna be a stud

I can't believe we just got Stubbs Bauer and 2 relievers for basically choo. Great ass trade for the tribe.

I love the trade for the Reds too. Stubbs is worthless (but may benefit from a change of scene...your guys' brandon phillips?), and i'll take giving up a SS prospect for Choo. Just hope we can resign him.Crimson streak;1340818 wrote:I can't believe we just got Stubbs Bauer and 2 relievers for basically choo. Great ass trade for the tribe.

I honestly can't believe the tribe just got Bauer out of that deal. Unreal. A top 5-10 prospect in all of baseball in case people didn't know who he was

I'm so happy with this trade. Choo was gone, we get a young pitcher and an outfielder who maybe will benefit from the change of scenery.
Not that it means anything, but my Diamondback friends are all really pissed off right now. I have no idea, and neither do they, why they gave up on Bauer so soon.

This is all I could find....

I'm befuddled. Stud guy coming out of UCLA, 11 k/9 in the minors. Hmm

Apparently they don't like his attitude. But I'm not worried especially with a guy like Francona who is well respected. Bauer has elite stuff though.

Yeah that's insane. I could see if they were getting a ton of MLB ready guys, or a really good prospect in return...they're just getting a couple pretty good prospects. That's asinine.Crimson streak;1340825 wrote:I honestly can't believe the tribe just got Bauer out of that deal. Unreal. A top 5-10 prospect in all of baseball in case people didn't know who he was

Honestly I would love to revisit the drubs to cardinals. Lynn would be awesome to add to the rotation

I want re-sign Choo as well. But let's be honest. He's a one year rental

I don't think so..I mean if I had to put money on it, I'd say he's gone. But I don't think he's CLEARLY a one year rental. He could like playing in Cinci (like Ludwick did) and decide to re up with Cinci for less money (like Ludwick did)jordo212000;1340841 wrote:I want re-sign Choo as well. But let's be honest. We'll trade him before we have to pay him if he produces.Crimson streak;1340825 wrote:I honestly can't believe the tribe just got Bauer out of that deal. Unreal. A top 5-10 prospect in all of baseball in case people didn't know who he was

Choo is going to make much, much much more than Ludwick
Also, I HATE this deal from the Dbacks perspective
