Tribe will have plenty of depth waiting in the wings at Columbus. Both Dice -K and Matt Capps signed minor leage contracts today, and will stay with the organization.

Chris McGuinness was returned to the Rangers, opening a roster spot for Ryan Raburn. McGuinness was a rule 5 draftee and would have had to be kept on the 25 man roster the whole season. With the off season signng of Reynolds, Swisher and Bourn the highly rated prospect would have had to have an incredible spring to have had a shot at sticking with the Tribe. He batted .195 in 40 AB's.

???Why would you not want McGuiness back for $25,000? I read they were trying to make a trade but it fell through. That said...if they can get him back at a reasonable cost, I'm all for it.The Rangers are rumored not to want McGuinness
