Perhaps because the top 6 teams are all in the B1G? I mean does anyone actually think Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, or Miami would even be ranked if they played in a tough conference like the B1G? I mean sure they'd beat up on Northwestern, Penn State, and Nebraska but what about the other 9 tournament quality teams would they have a snowballs chance in hell to win on a nightly basis?

Kansas would run a train on the B1G, just like they did at OSU.

Sleeper is dumb but so is saying kansas would run a train on the bigten.

Kansas lost to msu.
Also lost to tcu.
Kansas would be in the mix at the top no doubt. But no way theyd be a guaranteed lock to win the league

I would have had Payne on team #1 rather than Hardaway or Thomas.

Bo Ryan COY is a joke. Crean, Matta or even McCaffery imo deserved it before him. Heck even Izzo maybe.

I don't think Thomas is all that great. He scores a lot because he shoots a lot; he also misses a lot.

True. But lets not be naive. Something obviously happened before that.
ytownfootball;1403871 wrote:Crean...decent coach? Yeah probably.

Dickhead?....certainly

This is very true. Id say hes above average, though I still dont know what he is thinking half the time haha.

He is absolutely a prick when he doesnt like you. He holds grudges like no one else, ever lol. That said, I love it. After Sampson and Davis were buddy buddy with everyone, its nice to see a dick in charge again and leading the program in the right way.

Im only defending him here because I think Id do the same thing to that regime when I saw them. I for sure wouldnt do it in public though. But of all the things you can pick on Crean for (whether it be being weird, or a dick or pacing or anything) I think this is overblown and not that big a deal.

I agree. I would rather have his demeanor then the african american version of butthead and calvin sampsonite. Just wish he would be a little less whiney.

With that said....Crean has brought this program back. I admit i was a little embarrased that this was the first time in 20 yrs in winning the outright title. Many of us remember the heydays of IU which ended toward the end of BK's reign. TC has set this program up to be successful for a very long time. He owes that alow to Zeller to be honest with ya. Cody very easily could have, and who would have blamed him, went some place else.

Is Burke really worthy of MVP after being instrumental in the 5 pt / 52 sec. give-away choke job on Sunday? Pure scUM punk thugger in my book.

With Indiana winning the B1G, it probably should have gone to one of their players (specifically Oladipo)... especially since UM lost it at the end in a choke job to Indiana AND UM is the only upper tier B1G school to lose to PSU (also, how does UM get to 1st teamers?)

Agreed, but I feel like Oladipo got DPOY votes as a consolation for not getting POY votes.

While Burke winning POY and Oladipo DPOY is in no way a travesty as both are more than worthy of the selection, I do think it should have been Oladipo POY and Craft DPOY. Oladipo put up pretty great numbers for as little as he was utilized specifically on that team. Not saying Burke is a chucker, but imagine if Oladipo shot that often. His numbers, imo, wouldve been better than Burkes in every aspect but AST.

What made Oladipo so unreal was that he never took a bad shot and didnt force it. Shooting over 60% from the field fromt he wing position is incredible. Nabbing about 6-7 rebounds a game at 6'5 is just effort and determination and guarding 3-4 players/positions a night and leading the league in steals is also tremendous. Overall, no one in college ball is like him and Im not sure that doesnt make him POY in the B1G.
