What is it with Indiana being mentally incapable on crucial inbounds plays?

How the fucking hell does that ball not go in? I swear I cannot watch basketball and give a shit who wins.
Nice free throw shooting you dumb fucks.
Robinson, Hardaway and Burke....missed 3/4 and both front ends of 1 on 1's.
Good God.

What a choke job by Trey Burke at the line. That's Scott Norwood level. It's an oft-repeated and tired cliche to say that free-throw shooting wins or loses games, but Michigan just lost a Big Ten championship because of it today.
Indiana went from a one seed to a two seed to a one seed in a matter of a minute. I think the Hoosiers have wrapped it up now, along with Duke. Gonzaga is playing for its one seed on Monday and the fourth is yet to be determined.

I don't understand this at all. Duke's loss against Lehigh last year is completely irrelevant. The team was completely different, and wasn't even fully healthy, with a key player injured and out for the year.Tiger2003;1403520 wrote:Duke will be out in the 2nd round.
The Blue Devils are playing some of the best basketball in the country right now. There are very few teams that can outmatch them when they are at full strength. They are as balanced as they come with arguably the best shooting team in America and a NPOTY candidate manning the post.

Yeah, I get that. And I get that Duke could easily lose in the second round of the tournament this year. But so could any of the number one seeds. I just do not get why some here seem to think that Duke is so much more vulnerable to lose in that scenario than any of the other highly-rated teams. When the Blue Devils are fully healthy, what's their glaring weakness that I apparently am not seeing that makes them clearly inferior to Indiana?dlazz;1403527 wrote:A Duke fan, not understanding Duke criticism in a Big Ten thread?

I say that still believing that, on paper, Indiana is the heavy favorite to cut down the nets.

Leave it to the skunkbears to screw things up, not only for themselves, but for two other teams...nice job, assholes

Lol...no team is a heavy favorite this year. Any of the top teams could win it all or just as easily be out in the first weekend. Going into the dance Duke is the favorite right now. Things can change after conference tourneys though.

On the flip side, those other two teams could have just won 1 more game.vball10set;1403534 wrote:Leave it to the skunkbears to screw things up, not only for themselves, but for two other teams...nice job, assholes

Fitting that Michigan lost because of FT shooting and missed layups, and was grossly outrebounded. Also, the offense for Michigan the last 6-7 minutes was to watch Burke dribble and dribble some more, then drive and take a tough shot or shoot a contested deep ball.
All the reasons I've said all yea Michigan will struggle in the tournament.

I think UM will be fine, but Burke needs to start letting the game come to him more. He has plenty of firepower around him.
