Not nagging shin splits, a stress fracture in the right shin. Its ridiculous to think of playing through that. I can't imagine he isn't getting injections for it on a game by game basis. Warrior.

Curry has played through so many problems with both legs this year that I can't even keep track. You're right it is ridiculous what he's been able to accomplish on two bad legs. I'd equate what he's done this season to averaging 17.1 points per game while playing on a pogo stick. And yet, he's still one of the most crafty, determined and efficient scorers in the country.

While this balanced Duke team wouldn't need him to do it, Seth could've averaged upwards of 26, 28 points a game fully healthy. That's how good he is.

A private school vs the states big public school and place them 8 miles apart! Are you kidding me? Go to a Duke-UnC game and you would agree! Sorry just bein realistic

I've been to both and absolutely disagree, and I'm a way bigger basketball fan than football.

Duke vs. the Great Danes of Albany

2 v. 15 game. Shouldn't be nervous, but after last year. No one is safe.

I like our draw. Very winnable games there. If we get to Louisville Coach K owns Pitino I feel good about it

Michigan State was the worst possible No. 3 seed for Duke to draw in the regional semis, but I like the Albany and Creighton/Cincy matchup. The Bearcats would provide the most trouble with their athletic guards who play more of an uptempo pressure defense -- something Curry really struggles with -- but they are incredibly inconsistent and I didn't think they belonged in the tournament.

If Creighton advances to play Duke, it's going to be a three-point contest. Would be a fun game to watch.

If Duke loses to Albany, I am changing teams. Haha.

Yes I know.

But usually when people talk about switching teams, it means something else.

Duke will have the advantage of playing in Philadelphia, where the fans are supportive of Albany but are not printing Carolina blue tshirts with Albany on them.

Cincinnati and Creighton will be a great game and I think Duke will be in a dogfight with either team if they get by Albany.

I agree Michigan State is a problem, they have some bigs and a coach that finds a way to make Coach K look bad in the sweet 16 (i.e. 2005)

Fingers crossed the Devils find a way to give their best effort and make enough shots to win some games in March. Would love a nice little tournament run for the Seniors to go out on. Book end championship rings would be nice.

Duke gets Creighton tomorrow night at 10 p.m. Playing Creighton in the middle of the night is not exactly a great draw either way you look at it.

They have a leading contender for NPOTY, are as physical and dirty a team as there is in the country and they start five Dale Ellises. The Jays are giants on the wing. Their four most proficient outside shooters stand 6-8, 6-7, 6-6 and 6-5. Duke only has one player above 6-5 in the current rotation that can guard the three-ball on the perimeter. It's a nightmare matchup for the Blue Devils. Duke's last two opponents have shot a combined 48.5% from downtown. If Creighton is in Craig Hodges mode, Duke's in serious trouble.

Echinique tried to knock Zeller out of the game last year, will be interesting to see how he attempts to physically assault Mace.

Kelly vs. McDermott. Given the lack in lateral quickness from Kelly, I am a bit worried McDermott will go off on Kelly with the midrange game, and when K subs in Hariston he will simply foul McDermott and give him easy free throws.

Curry and Suilamon need to hit shots from the outside to free up Kelly and Plumlee on the interior. They got through round one, but I am fully expecting an L tomorrow night. Then again I am a horrible pessimist about this Duke team as of late. They look uninspired.

I think this has the potential to be the game of the day. Then again, I thought UofM/VCU would be that today lol

I would not be surprised if the number one player on Creighton's scouting report was Ryan Kelly's foot. They are one of the dirtiest teams in the entire country. Last year, they swiped at Kendall Marshall's injured hand the entire game long. They might as well have been using tennis rackets. It was obvious as hell. I already hate Creighton and the game hasn't begun.

Agreed. Duke will be lucky to still be playing anywhere than the park on Monday.

Agree with this. Creighton isn't good. They'll pull away and win by 14-18.

Creighton isnt good, but they have the best match-up, and probably the best player on the court.

Ryan Kelly is good, but I seriosuly doubt he can guard McBuckets. Not quick enough.

Creighton has a legitimate national player of the year candidate -- he'd be my pick, actually -- a solid core of shooters, great height on the wing, excellent guard play and they won their conference. They are not "not good."

Duke's guards will be much better than Creighton's and that will be the difference IMO. Cook, Curry, Sulaimon will be too much for the Jay's guards.

I hope Duke shoots 42 foul shots to Creighton's 4 and Duke wins by 1 and half the country has to make Dr appointments for depression.

As swami already mentioned, Echenique tried to knock Zeller out of the game by basically giving him a forearm to the throat that sent him to the floor, and wasn't called a foul. They were intentionally swiping at Henson's injured wrist, and when he got pissed, that Gibbs douche winked at his coach to show that he had successfully followed orders. Then once they were getting their asses beat, they hammered Marshall on a drive to the rim, which sent him to the floor and broke the bone in his hand, essentially ending Carolina's season.

I hate Duke with every fiber of my being, but I wouldn't be heartbroken if Creighton got their asses kicked today.
