The thing is BC does not suck at Chestnut Hill. I already mentioned this on another thread prior to tonight's game, but the Eagles have been competitive all year at home, losing games to Miami by 1, N.C. State by 4 and played Baylor close the entire way before losing by 10 at the end.

Not to mention, Duke didn't arrive in Boston until this afternoon, having no time for a full run through and practice. After traveling all day, the cold shooting was a given. Normally, Duke would arrive on Friday morning and have two full days to prepare. Any Duke fan saw this coming.

Word out of Coral Gables is that Miami's 6-11 power forward/center Kenny Kadji has injured his shoulder. This would be a colossal loss for the Hurricanes, who have tended struggle when missing key players this season. He's scored in double figures in 13 straight during Miami's 11 game win streak, averaging over 16 per.

Duke playing in College Park tonight for the last time. Fully expect a full-on carnival atmosphere in Comcast, as the fans will literally want blood. After Maryland beat Duke in 2010, 27 Maryland fans were arrested on charges varying from intimidation, assault and injuring three state troopers. One fan challenged a state trooper to a duel with a broken beer bottle. Can you imagine being a Duke fan walking to your car in the dark if Duke wins tonight? Can you imagine being a Duke fan walking to your car if Maryland wins tonight?

The atmosphere on the court is going to be equally as scary.

They play like that again in the second half and they will have a very quiet flight back to Durham.

I can hardly bear to watch it. Until Ryan Kelly returns, this is what we have to look forward to. This team just isn't going to blow anyone out of the water.

Terps dominating the inside, and the crowd is really having a factor.

I love the Comcast Center. It is one of the best in a big game.

Yeah, the Terps just have one rival, Duke. And, the students are just indoctrinated to hate Duke so much.
And there is literally nothing to do on campus.

I have been to one of the Duke games, and yeah it can get a little rough.
Terp fans are passionate.

I'll say it again, if Ryan Kelly doesn't come back and help Duke return to earlier form, the Blue Devils are going to lose in the first round for a second straight year. Likely to a 14 or 15 seed, because they sure as hell aren't going to get a one playing like this. Mason Plumlee looked intimidated tonight. Alex Len dominated him from start to finish. He can wave goodbye to any NPOTY aspirations he may have had.

I have seen enough.
