Yep. Onuaku injury and the Fab Melo academic fiasco were killers. They should get Coleman back in early March too. I feel a lot better about this team now.

Bad Intentional foul, and a questionable charge/block. But thats all I saw. Nothing that wouldve kept KSt in this game early. Kansas is rolling.

KU at -7 was the lock of the night. Should have went in hard on it. I knew it. K-State is already cooked.

This will be a great igniter for Kansas as the Jayhawks are about to commence on a brutal road stretch.

Reason: Naadir Tharpe

Elijah Johnson isn't a good point guard; he plays well as the "second" guard on the team--was good last year to compliment Taylor.

This needed to be done (Johnson benching), and you'll see Naadir as the starting PG from here on out (to the title game :))

Well, it looks like Bill Self has finally found that missing piece. Lack of solid point guard play is definitely what was holding this Jayhawk team back. Kansas has plenty of scoring to get the job done with McLemore (who can go for 25 any time he wants), Releford and Withy inside. There just wasn't anybody making the necessary plays to get those guys the ball. That was my view anyway.

As I type, McLemore drops thirty. On his birthday. He's a stud.

.
Best Jayhawk to play in Lawrence since probably Paul Pierce.

Kid is a fucking stud.

I remember last year when KU was making their run how amazing it would be to have McLemore in there...everything KU fans would hear about the kid was that he would dominate in practice. He would play with the 1s (Trob, TT, etc.) and just completely dominate. Man I would have loved to have seen that title game when u add McLemore. 6 to midnight.

And you are spot-on regarding the PG position. I've been saying it for probably 10 games now..this team is better when Elijah Johnson isn't anywhere near the ball. Tharpe is going to be amazing, let the kid shine and put EJ in a role players position where he is actually pretty good at.

Word out of Coral Gables is that Miami's 6-11 power forward/center Kenny Kadji has injured his shoulder. This would be a colossal loss for the Hurricanes, who have tended to struggle when missing key players this season. He's scored in double figures in 13 straight during Miami's 11 game win streak, averaging over 16 per.

I hope it's only minor. Despite them killing Duke, I love that Miami has repped the ACC as well as they have.

That would be a catastrophic loss for Miami.

I'm almost in tears. For those not watching, he's done. We're talking career, especially for a center...

We'll see. He was crying and was carried into the locker room. Sucks because he's the one guy on this team with consistent effort and heart...

Hopefully he's just hurt, not injured, and scared to death. I imagine feeling your career might be over has to be devastating.

He was screaming in pain for quite a while. Hopefully it's not as bad as it seems.

Hopefully he's not hurt badly. He's got a big pay check coming. Seems like a good kid too.

If you say so. It was more of a figure, I'm not literally crying. I mean that could be a life-altering moment...regardless of this season.
