I tried to watch but couldn't get past how hideous Wyomings uni's are. It's bad enough that one is used, but who the hell's brainstorm was it to put both the color of piss and the color of shit together to form a giant clusterfuck of a uni that is Wyoming's?

Fresno State put on an absolute clinic on how to do everything possible wrong from the start of the 4th quarter on.

FSU lost this game more than Wyoming won it.

Fresno State would not do anything correct starting with 10 minutes to go in the 4th quarter and in both OT's. It's absurd.

I put a ton of confidence in them as well, and this is how they repay me. Assholes.

Umm, since this is only the 4th New Mexico Bowl it is not that hard to be considered the best one ever.

Ryan Matthews is a beast. To bad Fresno choked in this game. They should have won this game by double digits.

Wyoming's uniforms would not be so terrible looking if they didn't have that damn white helmet.

Good win for the Cowboys.

Caught some of it while I was in the mall earlier. "Best" New Mexico Bowl ever? haha. Something about that just makes me laugh.

Boo-yah!

I figured a team playing at 7,200 feet all year at home will have an easy time at 5,312 feet in December against a team from 296 feet in California. Just won't have the stamina late in the game.

How dare you speak of my alma mater in this way!! Lol, just kidding.

The official colors of wyoming are brown and wyoming prairie gold. Espn has consistently voted both the team and band uniforms the ugliest in the nation, and it has kind of become a point of pride for us.

a playoff would deprive me of seeing the likes of wyoming and fresno playing in an ever important game in new mexico a week before christmas...we can't have that - i need the cowboys and bulldogs in my life

hey, that's a pretty sweet pot thing that somebody had to make and paint.... I'm sure it looks good in a trophy case in somebody's football offices

It's unfortunate we couldn't watch Alabama's second team running up the score on Troy in a 1-16 matchup.

so are you going to go on record that you wouldn't watch to see if:
- ohio state could curtail ga tech's option at home
- how the blue turf in boise would affect the hokies
- is florida's speed too much for penn state in the swamp
- the autzen zoo will be too tough for the hawkeyes to handle
- tcu can initiate the first step of their march through the sec conference at home against the bayou bengals
- or if cmu could get revenge against brian kelly for leaving them three seasons ago

Sure I would (except CMU getting squashed), but I am going to watch all of their bowl games too. You should ask someone else.

Oh man, what would I ever do if I couldn't watch Wyoming play in the New Mexico Bowl? I usually watch some paint dry or women's pro basketball but instead I went with this. So much was decided on that New Mexican football field last night. I couldn't pass that up. :-/

The best was the broadcast team trying to hype up the game towards the end. The goal line stand was referred to as "epic", Wyoming's TD in overtime was "as good as it gets" and one play by Fresno in overtime was referred to as "heroic." I got a big kick out of it.

You cant honestly think that all these shit bowls would be better then a 3 week playoof where we actually get to see a game that ends up making another game.
Seriously.

Why are people so opposed to a playoff? The benefits from the BCS do not effect them one bit. (Unless they are the president of one of the colleges). I am trying to figure out why people so doggedly defend it. It makes no sense to me at all. Who would turn down 3 weeks of playoff football to support a system that puts Iowa and GA Tech on the field to settle nothing

I don't oppose a play-off.

I don't defend it.

I realize the engine behind what's in place and doubt the ability to change it as a realist. If that makes me a BCS homer then fine. But you'll not see things change until the same money or more can be made. Over 50% of the FBS is represented by the BCS.

The real question you need to be asking is why the NCAA let's it happen the way they do.
