Exaggeration and yes there was never any indication they considered it anything less than terrorism.

And, it's sickening of course that you'd think our president is indifferent to the death of a man he was personally close to because the show must go on. Just take a step and realize what you're saying here. You're just like the anti-war liberals writing ostentatious and outrageous things about President Bush in my college newspaper
What is sickening is the excuses being made for what is incompetence/negligence. What is being 'manufactured' is the spin and the semantics and the excuses of what was said and when. The issue is plainly that 4 Americans are dead, and there was plenty of warning, multiple events that suggested imminent danger, multiple requests for more security.....and absolutely NOTHING was done. Has anybody lost their job? Somebody made decisions that cost 4 people their lives, and those people are still employed.

that choosing not to build a wall that would stop a foul ball from hitting a fan in all possible circumstances is not negligence.
You do realize that they put a screen directly behind the batter to protect fans behind the plate, where there is a high probablity of someone being hit.

In fact, you even went so far as to post a video from Drawn Together as if it was self-evident. However, your intuition was proven incorrect.
Repeating the same incorrect point over and over again doesn't work, it only makes you sound like a fool. Uh Duuuuuuuhhhhhh!

This whole issue is really just a microcosm of how Obama has governed - he's spent far, far more time and concern over campaigning and how things are perceived (throughout 4 years, really) than he has actually, you know, doing the job he was elected for. His first term agenda was essentially re-election. From the looks of things, his second term agenda might be changing the laws to get a third term.

From the network that gives air time to Rachel Maddow and Al Sharpton. You know it's bad when Obama himself makes fun of "making Chris Matthews tingle".

CNN and Fox are pretty similar IMO in terms of how far they lean from center. MSNBC has no business calling themselves a news organization.

Side note - probably decent share you could take from Fox if you launched a right-wing equivalent of MSNBC.

I give CNN credit for coming back toward the middle. They used to be almost MSNBC like, but have definitely taken a more fair approach recently. I actually watch CNN for all the debates and post-debate chatter.

Not to sound alarmist, but it's very possible we will see impeachment hearings if Obama gets a 2nd term.

I think Biden makes him impeachment-proof.

You guys are jumping the gun a bit. Just because a militant group tries to claim credit doesn't mean it's conclusive proof of such.

It goes beyond someone claiming credit. This was a 7 hour ordeal in which the President mobilized 0 troops to try to save US lives. They declined sending the extra protection requested. They knew something was going down because they already had a drone there with a live feed of the conflict. Obama has repeated many times that his number one job is to protect American lives, and he didn't do that.

I agree it smells very badly and there's more to it. I'm just saying a group claiming credit isn't some smoking gun some people are making it out to be.

I wouldn't care if Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck took responsibility, it was a terrorist attack, weeks in the making, they knew it, did nothing to stop it, then chose to mislead the American people. They went as far as arresting the guy who made this infamous "Youtube video".

This thing is snowballing....and fast. Unfortunately, the press will be pretty hush on this until after election day.

Yeah, I haven't seen much more about that. On what grounds, exactly, were they able to arrest that clown?

Something to do with parole violation, if memory serves.

Officials from California claim that his use of a computer was a parole violation, thus the arrest - by half a dozen of officers no less since he was such a threat.

This while Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes actually put the public in danger with their drunken driving and are let loose to continue their destructive behavior.

This is a boondoggle. One of my FB friends who isn't an idiot is claiming this is worse than Watergate - at least no one was killed in that screw up.
