Just like the Bin Laden assassination (which I agree we did the right thing), the Obama administration can't get their own stories straight. This transcends politics. This is a competence issue.

Overseas the whole thing is perceived as a complete failure. No one believes that any of this was some random act due to some stupid "film", why the WH pushed that narrative is beyond me.

And for what it's worth, I don't think there are many Repubs regularly posting on this board. Amazing, I know, that a non-Repub could disagree with the liberal agenda and/or think Obama is a failure.

So you feel somehow if Obama was not president there would not be anymore attacks on Americans overseas? Just plain amazing how the spin machine works. America has lots of enemies, the Obama administration has done an excellent job of locating and eliminating them one by one. To attack Obama on this issue makes you look foolish and desperate. Stick to the economy, its your only chance.

I'm assuming at least one, if not both of the couple are American, and stay at least somewhat plugged in to US news sources. I imagine that would contribute to their "perception."

Both American citizens. He's a Swedish citizen as well. He has his BSEE, MSEE from OSU and MBA from The Jönköping International Business School in Sweden and is a Senior VP at ABB.
JMOG wishes he was as retarded as my BIL lol.

They've been in Stockholm for at least a decade now. They're pretty far out of the American loop.

curious to what your explanation is then. I live with 2 Muslims and they say that showing the face of Muhammad (which the film apparently did) is a huge no-no. Their parents, currently living in Sudan, believe this is the case as well. Apparently they can see the riots from their house. If the film has no impact in all of this, why is there a bounty put on the film director's head?

Not saying I think you are wrong, just looking for an explanation.

Somehow Obama should have stopped these attacks. But 9-11...well I guess it was Clinton's fault...even though Richard Clark...a guy who knew...put the blame squarely on Pinnochio....and rightfully so.
