Hughes was top 5 back in the area last season and the devils haven't showed offense code tonwhatbthey did last season! Not trying to spoil the pot but they are huge under dogs tomorrow night not to mention if Quinlan didn't go out last season it would have been a blowout. They have a chance but in my eyes 20 percent tops
We'll see what happens. I am looking forward to it.

You are right. Campbell is not close to the type of team they were last season. And that's a good thing. Unless you are from Campbell you will not understand what I am saying. I am looking forward to a good game in a great small school atmosphere.
First off... I have 0 loyalty or allegiance to Brookfield.

Secondly... I know what you're saying. It only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch.

Good luck Campbell.

Brookfield leading 14-6 early in the 2nd. Devils gift wrapped the 2 scores. First with a bad snap on a punt that gave them the ball at the 15 and then a pick gave them the ball at the 25. Devils are playing tough otherwise.

it was 14-12 brookfield w/about 1:20 left b4 half. campbell had the ball on their own 20, brookfield only had 1 timeout left. instead of running out the clock and going into halftime down 2, knowing they (campbell) would receive the 2nd half kickoff, the devils throw 3 incomplete passes (used maybe 10 seconds off the clock). after the punt brookfield took advantage, scored on a long pass play, then converted the 2pt conversion. the ensuing kickoff campbell fumbles, brookfield picks up the ball and scores, again the 2 pt conversion is good, now its 30-12. campbell was "done" right after that (totally different mindset if u go into half down only 2, but instead, it was 18 in a matter of seconds).

not saying campbell would have won, but that decision was.............................(fill in the blank).

Just a disaster of a game. Campbell lost any chance they had of winning it in the last minute of the first half. My hats off to Brookfield. They kicked our asses. Struthers-Brookfield should be a great game.

Overall I'm pretty sure Sikora runs it himself.

DeJulio is the defensive coordinator. I'm not sure he can be blamed for anything that happened in the last 90 seconds of the first half vs. Brookfield. That's where the game was lost. It's called clock management.

Perhaps I should have clarified my post. The final 90 seconds of the first half was a huge momentum swing for Brookfield. It took Campbell out of the game. Giving up 58 to Brookfield in the game is inexcusable. And it's not as if they added any wrinkles to what their offense was last year.
