Ok I am going to say this as clearly as I can. There r so many assumptions and rumors let me put this out there once and for all instead of in fragments. On August 11th victim goes to party in Steubenville with friends. A party that she was invited to (under false pretenses) At this party she WAS drugged. When her friends were ready to go she became combative…fighting with them that she didn’t wanna leave. Her friends thinking she was drunk not knowing she had been drugged left her there to avoid a fight (mistake! You NEVER leave a friend at a party…I do not care if you have to pull her out by her hair) After friends leave she is then moved to Cross Creak township/ Wintersville. In a trunk…unconscious! At a new INDOOR location she is brutally raped by multiple people, beat, peed on, and held until they finished. SOMEONE then called her father telling him he needed to come get his daughter. When he arrived where he was told to go she was lying in a yard. He immediately took her to the Hospital where a rape kit and toxicology report was completed, sealed, and sent to local authorities. This led into the wee hours of August 12th. In the middle of all of this Cody Saltsman sent her dad a photo of her being carried by her wrists and ankles the said “look at your whore daughter now” I will not comment on what happened between August 12th and August 14th, but a police report was filed on the 14th. The events that took place between the rape and the report are for the family ONLY to discuss if they see fit. She has very little memory of the party and no memory of the rape, but these geniuses helped that big whole in the case by photographing, videoing, and posting events as they happened. Scary thing is they could have very well gotten away with it if they had not acted the way they did post rape. The family HAS NOT EVER tried to take back the charges….has never tried to walk away from this. They r prepared to fight for their child until the very end of this. No one has been beat up by her family (although they should be) Any questions? AND to you who continues to put signs in front of the Jail proclaiming the innocents of these monsters I will continue to remove them!!!!!!! (and “bang bang” does not scare me as you tried to scare certain twitter users. I have a license to carry a concealed weapon and believe me it is ALWAYS WITH ME, I know how to use it to protect myself, so keep your threats to yourselves!)

Natalie Herbick was going to tweet updates live from the courtroom but they made her turn her cellphone off because no cell phones are allowed in there. She did get one tweet out though and it stated,"A lot of ppl here. Including coach Blackburn and coach saccoccia."

I have to assume that is Reno there and not JoJo.

Case is being continued. New hearing for probable cause set for October 12th.

This is sad. A lot of people keep saying stuff about the parents, and I find it hard to believe that this could be a parents fault. I was raised by great parents and did a lot of stupid stuff I think we all did. However this is beyond being a stupid teenager. I think everyone should pray for all the families involved because whatever happens it is not going to be easy for anyone.

Obviously no parent raises their child to do things such as this (allegedly), but I think that it is fair to say that the one young man's life could/may have gone a little differently had his father been more present in his life (i.e. not in jail).

But I do agree....this is not going to be easy for anyone. Hopefully justice is served and those involved (alleged victim and her family, families of the alleged perps) are able to cope with the results afterward.

wow that is terrible...where were all the female friends or other girls at this party?? that is about the behavior you will get from a group of boys but usually you would expect some girls to step up and help out

They were there early in the night, but wanted to go home. The girl who was involved wanted to stay and they left her there. Her friends have to feel terrible.
