cant remember the last game whether it be nfl, college or high school i was this hyped up for haha i cant go like 10 mins without thinking about it....truly going to be another chapter in a great rivalry

I like the road ones but the home ones are in desperate need of a white outline on numbers so you can actually see them..saw struthers new duds in the vindy..very nice..but I gotta ask does struthers really have a player named "Dudley Dudley"

i wish theyd do red as away jerseys...i know most dont share that sentiment but we did wear red at home for the longest time. also this monday at 7 in the high school cafeteria will be meet the players night. everyone get out and come see the devils. also tickets will be sold for the game, any tickets we sell we get to keep. t-shirts will also be sold. come down and at least get your tickets and show these kids were expecting them to win lol

I saw some of the younger kids in the stands last Thursday at the Niles scrimmage wearing some really sharp uniform jerseys. I'd like to see the varsity wearing something similar by next season. I have heard that the home jerseys will be the same ones as those worn last season, which are without a doubt the worst home jerseys I have ever seen. And I have been watching Campbell play football since 1968!!!!! The away jerseys are just okay from my point of view. They are just too plain. They have no style to them. Soup, I will see you tomorrow night. By the way, I am expecting Campbell to win this game.

The thing about Campbell's uniform I miss the most is by far the devils on the helmet with a pitchfork underneath..if they make changes for 2013 I'd love to see those come back...:I have to admit I was out of the loop with Campbell football for a few years...anyone know the last year they wore those?

anyone that has been at the gridiron meetings knows that they were run pretty dry last year on money. they have obligations they need to meet this year plus they usually meet any unknown costs that come up for the team during the year. i know they just paid to have the helmets redone and that cost 7k. i dont think theyll beable to help with jerseys until next year and that may be why they stuck with these.

either way...you shouldnt just get new uniforms every year for style points. they picked those last year and theyre stuck with them. they shouldve called in a fashionista last year.

Let's take an educated guess as to how the prognosticators in "the blitz" are gonna pick this game. If I remember right there are about I don't know 8-10 people that pick the games weekly. Let's say there are 10 for a nice round number how do you see the picks going?...I say struthers gets 7 and Campbell gets 3. Just discovered this site and really enjoying the discussion. Nothing like good sports talk with knowledgable(sp) people

Struthers got a huge donation from an NFL source. I am sure that helped enable them to get new uniforms. To be honest, I don't care if Campbell comes out of the locker room wearing jerseys with numbers marked in crayon. I'll be there to support them.

The wildcats got that money from belichek after the jerseys were bought. They needed new ones badly. Look really nice this year though. Really. I fully expect Struthers to win this game as I do every year lol

Struthers ran the ball fine last year with the addition to witkowski and Lariccia and kimbrough all getting carries they should be better I look for Struthers to throw the ball around 10 times just like last year, I its not broke don't fix it, seen the niles scrimmage Campbell had some boys out of breath after the first couple downs cause o concern id say.

yeah campbell's running game looked very solid in both scrimmages. 3 backs mostly which im pretty sure in the scrimmages were adrian brown #25, charles smith #15 and aaron jackson #16(those were the practice jersey numbers by the way) solid play by the defense with the exception of the secondary struggling some. and obvious struggles with kicking game. question to struthers fans on here. based on what you saw in scrimmages how was the run defense and what would you say is your biggest strength/weakness heading into thursday?..i apologize if this has already been discussed on here and i missed it.

Struthers handled the run against streetsboro pretty well, couple nice 10 yard runs but everything else was very minimum and secondary was suspect against streetsboro, then the Kent roosevelt scrimmage struthers played very well against the pass, Kent ran it very little ending the scrimmage 7-7. Their strength will be containing the outside runs this season especially with Kimbrough coming up to make big hits from the SS position rfom what i have seen, what worries me is the occasional zetts trick play very early in the game, and if they bite on the run too early.

struthers WILL throw the ball more. but you guys already know that. easily 15 to 20 times.
