Zeller playing well offensively today. Gettin the jump hook to go.

Yeah, Graves can stroke it from behind the arc. Just wish he would be a little more aware defensively.

Carolina is right in this game. The last few minutes of the half are extremely important. Keep this thing close instead of digging a hole that will be tough to climb out of in the second half.

Not that it really matters, but that last bucket should not have counted. After Deon threw it away, the ball bounced up and hit the under side of the basket.

I have no idea what Dexter Strickland could have been thinking on Carolina's final possession. You're down 9, hold it for the last shot. But no, he tries to force the ball inside to Davis, which leads to a turnover and two more points for Texas. Then Deon acts like a moron and turns it over under the basket for yet another score. At the worst, this should have been about a 7-9 point game, but now the lead is 13.

Carolina can get back into this game, but I don't really see it happening, especially since they've given up 54 points.

Now the talking heads on ESPN are saying that KU and Texas are better than Carolina's 2009 national title team. Gimme a break, Dykes and Lavin. It's freakin December.

How Steve Lavin has a job at ESPN is beyond my comprehension. This Texas team played close with Carolina until that run to end the half. Somehow in his brain, that means they're better than last year's national champion. KU stunk it up on their home court against unranked Michigan today, and they're better too. Huh? Kansas and Texas are both very good basketball teams, but let's let them win a championship before we crown them.
