On a similiar thing you are talking about I gladly will stop by and get a lemonade or whatever from kids who sell it on the sidewalk. Usually give them a dollar or two and they can keep the change. If they are willing to sit out there in the heat and try to make some money..good for them.

If they are working and part of the equation is to earn a tip and they do a good job I’m willing to pay my share plus.

Simple code ... work hard get paid more, work less get less, don’t work ..fuck you entitlement democrat supporter:)

I can't remember where I heard that Domino's doesn't give the delivery charge to the drivers. I hope I'm wrong. It's like 2.25 added on. I normal tip 4. So i give them an extra 2 or 1 and some change.
Oh shit, I didn't mean to make it sound like I work at a Domino's. I work at a Hungry Howie's.

And Belly, I was being completely serious when I said we appreciated things like letting us keep the 50 cents extra or something. It's not much but if two people do that I can give one of our workers enough money for a drink or something which is nice when it's so damned hot out.

Bingo. Voluntary sharing for nothing in return is, in my opinion, one of the most sincere manifestations of brotherhood among two human beings.

I don't even make it a hard work thing. If they're obviously trying to do what they do well, and they're not showing any expectation for charity, I'm more likely to give. And honestly, there's nothing like giving a 19-year-old waiter who is busting his butt the biggest tip he's ever received and watching his face light up.

Sharing, at its core, is as beneficial to the one who shares as it is with the one who is shared with. I get why my parents told me it was the good thing to do when I was young.

I had my car broken into last night. They took about $6.00 worth of change, but left the TV and my golf clubs. Stupid fucks.

Had mine broken into awhile back. Had a cheap Wal Mart watch ($20) and a nice Bulova ($800) in it. The Bulova had a broken band. They took the Wal Mart one and left the Bulova.

I hope all crimes against my family and myself are committed with such intelligence.

I usually just throw my change in a jar and then once or twice a year I use the CoinStar machine at Kroger and throw it all on an iTunes card (no fees).
