Keep all change in a little cut out place in my car. Anytime I go in to buy something I take change to make exact change no matter what. Then the rest goes back. Also helps for drive-thrus and tolls etc. BTW, exact change is 3Q, 1D, 2N, 4P.

Depends on the cost of what I'm getting (and if I'm carrying cash, which I almost never am). For example, if I'm just getting a bottled beverage, I'll give the clerk or whoever enough ones to cover it ($2-$3) and tell them to keep it. If it's a pizza, I'll give them a $20 and tell them to keep it (usually about $4-5 extra).

It also depends on their attitude, but people seem generally nice to me, so I don't like to sweat a couple bucks here and there between another human being just trying to make his or her way through life.

I never pay cash and I never use a CC.

I always use my 5/3 debit mastercard.

On paydays I always go to Tim Hortons and get a coffee and leave a couple bucks for the person behind me, my random act of kindness.

Oh, yeah.. I'll use a CC for a big purchase... For instance, I just got new brakes so I put that on the CC. I always have it paid off fairly quickly though.

Why not just wait 6 months and save the interest?

this is the OC, where use of the credit card or having a bill is seen as poor fortune.

Reps. Seriously, I really appreciate people like this (even people like Belly who let us keep fifty cents or something. It makes our day better).

I always tip the delivery guy well. Except for Domino's. That added delivery charge should go to the driver. If it doesn't, fuck domino's.

I'm a supervisor (very impressive I know ) so I usually don't even keep the tips but give them to the other guys in the kitchen, don't deal with delivery tips at all since that's the drivers.

Our delivery charge goes to the driver for the gas/car wear and tear. Most people still don't tip.

I do too. In fact The Wife and I was at a pub last night and one of the patrons there having dinner. She works a another bar/restaurant in the same town we go to less often. When she saw us she informed the Bartender that we were great tippers. The Bartender said I know, they are regulars here. I left about a 35% tip as we had a blast with the Bartender and the other patron.

Plus my daughter put herself through college working as a server/waitress so I'm partial to them if the service is good as otherwise they don't make crap.

Where do you work?
I can't remember where I heard that Domino's doesn't give the delivery charge to the drivers. I hope I'm wrong. It's like 2.25 added on. I normal tip 4. So i give them an extra 2 or 1 and some change.

I'm a firm believer in willingly sharing with others who are doing what they can do to take care of themselves.
