My prime gripe was that when the news first broke, so many people and radio talk hosts (many who often totally bashed the guy for his multiple previous trespasses) were going on and on about how this was such a terrible terrible tragedy my point was very few folks ever even notice what a true tragedy is...such as: young Marines coming home in body bags. And then some of you had the audacity to try and say Henry's death somehow will impact your lives more than dead American soldiers ever would. If that is truly the case, I feel very sorry for the shallowness of the life you must lead.
I agree with what you're saying but it won't impact my day to day life when a Marine dies. I'll feel bad (more so than I do for Henry) but my life will remain unchanged. If not for my argument with you on this thread, I wouldn't have said more than 20 words about Henry.

Henry is nothing more than a pre-madona thug that dosen't deserve any media attention. so he can catch a f'n ball don't really care. In all honesty it is probally better for his kids to be raised without him because of the way he acts. What were the kids doing when this was going on? Wow there goes daddy trying to beat on mommy telling her he loves her and hes going to kill himself if she won't listen. Any man that kills himself over a women deserves to be dead. Good grief.

This is why society is so messed up and we live in such a messed up world b/c of comments like this. But I forgot you are perfect and have never done anything wrong in your life. Seriously, if you believe that three young children are better off w/o their own father then you really need help. I believe the oldest was like 6 or something so I highly doubt that they understood the concept of their father saying something like and who knows if those words were actually said. I have no idea what kind of grudge you had against him and seriously there should be none.... You're on basically a SPORTS message board so obviously you like to watch sports somewhat. "so he catches a ball, don't really care" I bet if he was on your favorite team you'd at least feel something... But you probably wouldn't seeing how it sounds like you have no sense of emotions towards anything anyway.

wft do I care about an idiot? nothing. The best thing to say about Henry is what was said in Rocky IV
Drago: If he dies, he dies

Also does anyone know what the ground said to Henry before he hit?

(hint another classic Rocky IV line)

answer: I must break you

^^^ That's what I don't get. Why wold you want him to die or show not even a hint of sadness? It wasn't like he was a murderer. He made some bad decisions, but he wasn't a waste of a life. He deserved to live and it is sad he died.

I feel bad for his kids having this over their heads the rest of thier life. His parents idk if his parents are the same as he was then no because they helped this happen if they were normal people and just had a "wild" child then ya. I feel bad but will I donate to the Henry Children fund? Probally not I don't care that much.

Whats crazy is that two women have killed NFL stars. McNair and now Henry. Just shows you how crazy women truley are. Both these women basically had a free pass for the rest of thier lifes (I know McNairs was a gf but he was married she could have got a lot from him) and now one girl is dead and the other has a shot of going to jail.

I am not saying it should consume your life, but I feel bad for his family--especially his children--because they lost a loved one.

There are a number of differences. Henry is a high profile personality who you don't expect to die. A Marine isn't a high profile person and its not really surprising when they die in a war zone.

You don't seem to get the basic point though. The death of a Marine, whom I don't know, will not impact my life anymore than the death of some random person in Africa. Henry is a football player known to most so it will have a greater impact.

That doesn't mean someone is shallow for recognizing that fact.
