Lakers offering Bynum and Metta World Peace. LA would probably have to take Richardson or Hedo.

I think that's a TEERIBLE move for Orlando.

Chris Broussard says sources tell him Deron Williams will stay with the Nets...20 minutes after Williams tweeted it. Great work from Broussard.

Williams has to be hoping like hell that they acquire Dwight.

Everybody on espn seems to hate Howard as much as we do. They make fun of him all the time.

Wow..

The Suns and Eric Gordon just agreed to a max offer sheet. 4yrs/58 mill. I'd expect NO to match.

I'm surprised Indiana didn't try and sign him

Same. I thought I saw that he had a great interest in returning to Indiana.. I guess he jumped on the first max offer though. At the end of the day, $$$ trumps basically everything.

Apparently EG is saying he'd much rather play for Phoenix than Nawlins.. Saying the Suns are the team for him and where his heart is.

Just got a TeamStream alert on my phone stating the Knicks are offering Iman Shumpert as part of a package for Steve Nash.

He should. He also always says, well the ppl I talk to. It's annoying. Plus he could report info a lot faster if maybe he just watched his twitter timeline. Since everyone but him apparently knew dwill was resigning a half hour before his ppl knew.

Looks like Nash will be going to NY in a sign and trade. Shumpert, Douglas and 3 "low money" players.

According to Woj.

Doesn't make NYK a contender, but makes them more fun to watch. Surprised he's going there without his old HC.

I'm ok with finding out 20 min later long as its right. In the NFL draft/off season I got so sick of twitter. All these bogus BS reports that turned out to be nothing more than bullshit. I stopped taking twitter seriously after that.

After looking at their roster listed with salaries, I am guessing it will be Harrelson, Jerome Jordan and the foreign kid they just drafted. Those guys are the only players they have left(unless they re-sign a FA they have but I don't know if more than 1 player can be dealt in a sign and trade deal).

Wow.
The funny thing is, ESPN once again reports it late. News broke on twitter a good amount of time before Marc Stein reported it... then they list "their sources" LOL.

I don't really know how I feel about Nash. I have always liked him, but he is past his prime IMO. Although he did have a really good year this past season.

But really not giving up anything to get him is OK with me. Now Mitch needs to go 100% in getting Dwight.

That was the key. They didn't give up much. The Lakers' picks would have been late round picks anyway. Nash is a true PG and I think Kobe will be able to rest himself more during games.

And fuck Dwight. Keep Bynum...

Dwight doesn't want to play in LA because he doesn't want to be accused of following in Shaq's footsteps.

Nash Kobe and Dwight would be dirty

Also, it appears that a big piece in the trade was the trade exception the Lakers got for trading Odom for nothing. So they basically traded Odom for Nash. Good trade for them
