I thought it was the Nets but that's completely off the table now.

I'd love to see the rest of the league blackball him, although we all know that won't happen.

Dwight has all the tools in the world to be a GREAT center. He had fucking Patrick Chewing on his bench. And if he goes to Houston, he will have Hakeem there to tutor him. If he goes to LA, Kareem will be there.

The thing is, he doesn't really care to improve. His offensive game is lightyears behind some of the other centers in the league. It's been that way for years and nothing has changed. IMO one of, if not THE most overrated player in the NBA.

And I'd kinda like it because you know Cuban would publicly call him out if needed.

What does Dallas have to offer the Magic?

They're not getting rid of Dirk. They dont alot of young talent that the Magic can use to build a team. They would get some draft picks but they will be pretty high.

Hawks send Marvin to the Jazz for Devin Harris.

Whatever happens, I pray Dwight signs now wherever he goes. Sick of hearing about this dude.

I could def see Dwight ending up in Atlanta.

What if Dwill goes to Dallas, I dont think they'd have the room to get Dwight. Then he either stays in Orlando (not happening), goes to Brooklyn (who just got the worst contract in the nba) or goes to LA.

No way he ends up in Brooklyn now... I also believe DWill is going to stay in Brooklyn.

Dallas could haul D12...

I defintiely don't see the ATL trading for Dwight... Seems like Ferry wants to blow that team up and rebuild.

Atl now has room to sign 2 max players next year. Cp3 and Howard?

Well... Now that you put it that way, maybe that's Ferry's plan? lol.

Wait, CP3 declined his player option... He's a FA this year, doubt he signs a 1 year deal.

Edit:

Unless you meant they sign CP3 this year? I don't know their cap situation now... I assume they were well over though, so even with Joe Johnson being traded I doubt they have room.

Either way, I doubt either player would end up in the ATL.

DWill/JJ/Wallace/Humphries/Lopez

Not a bad starting 5. DWill is a beast, and with talent around him could carry a team to a pretty good record.

Lopez is a very good center as well.

And those are basically the only 5 players they have right now lol.

That's a playoff team. But one that gets eliminated quickly. They gotta get Howard one way or another. Trade Wallace, Humphries, and Lopez and picks. Get Howard. Fill in the other spots with role players. Done deal.

lol no.

They literally JUST signed Wallace. Humphries isn't going anywhere and Lopez is a top 3 center.

There is no chance that Howard will land in Brooklyn.

Lopez offensively is superior to D12. He doesn't have the explosiveness or the defensive prowess of D12 though.

Yeah.

But Williams, JJ and Howard and a bunch of 2nd rate, role players are not making the playoffs. Let alone go further than the current Nets team.

No I agree... I was making the point that Lopez isn't as big of a drop-off at center as some may think. Of course, D12 has a more all around affect on the game.

Either way, NJ isn't a title contender. They need a lot more depth. I do think this team could be better than JJ's ATL squads though.
