This is exactly how I feel. I can't stand Wade.

Good for Lin - went from bottom of the barrel to about to be making a lot of money. But it's still mindblowing to me how he's getting offered $20+ million.

Assuming Dwight gets shipped to LA, how will Kobe deal with not being the best player on his team? Last time there was a question, it resulted in the team getting blown up to accommodate his ego.

Kobe has realized his NBA mortality. He wants help and is embracing it.

He's a complicated dude. People has so many misconceptions about him. He wants the help and stuff, but he wants people he trusts, aka Nash, DFish, Pau, CP3

Great signing for Miami. I can only assume Miller retires.

Based on what? Multiple reports say he argued with Howard on the phone about how large his role in the offense would be last year. That doesn't sound like he's at all ready to embrace being the 2nd best player on his team, which he will be if Howard goes there.

Based on the fact that he

1. Reached out to Steve Nash

2. Isn't reaching out to Howard, thus "throwing Bynum under the bus again"

You know deep down Kobe wants Howard. And what's wrong with telling Dwight he'd be the 3rd offensive option behind himself and Pau? Kobe and Pau are clearly better offensive players than Dwight. Kobe told Dwifht his job would be to rebound and defend. He'd get alot of easy buckets off double teams and offensive rebounds.

There is no question Kobe is a better player than Nash though. In fact, Nash is the exact sort of complimentary player that can make Kobe look better and possibly even extend his career.
2. Isn't reaching out to Howard, thus "throwing Bynum under the bus again"
Is that how we're going to frame this? Based on everything we've ever learned about Kobe, is it not far more likely he has a difficult time reconciling being the clear 2nd best player on the team should Howard come there?

We've been down this road before. It ended with the team being dismantled and Kobe chucking basketballs at Phil Jackson's surgically repaired feet.
