Agreed about their games being boring. But I think it has to do with their opponents being pussies. Portugal wasnt AWFUL today. But usually teams just bunker in, even the good teams.

Look at France, Netherlands (WC FINAL for FUCKS SAKE!), etc, etc, etc, etc. Hell the last team to go AT Spain, was USA. Last Euros teams went at them, and it obviously didn't work, but the games were awesome.

I tend to think Germany will come at them, thinking they are the better team. No opponent has thought that, and its led to a bunch of pussy play on the field. Germans will think that and believe it. I think itll be open and exciting. Italy though, more of the same.

Italy was the better team imo against Spain for most of the game until they relaxed the 1-1 tie.

Jus remember Ronaldo isn't exactly the best pk taker in big moments. He had missed three of four earlier this year including against Munich in the champions league semis.

Still early in the game. I can see Germany scoring 3 or at least tying it up in a half. Props to Balotelli, I had a feelign he was going to make his presence. Good thing his bookings were cleared though, or taking off his shirt would have been completely idiotic.

Pretty big shock.

Spain will need to figure out/pick the right combination of mids and forwards or they are in trouble. But I still expect them to take it.

It will depend on the outcome of Italy - Spain. Casillas for Spain right now and Mad Mario for Italy right now. But a big final from someone on Spain could change it. But for Italy, Ballotelli seems to have it locked up if they win.
