I hate how overrated he is. And that is not to say he is not one of the better Yankees to ever put on the uniform, and one of the best offensive players of the past 15 years. But its as if everything he does is amazing, including his defense, when he is well below league average in terms of range on defense.

He's only posted a positive defensive WAR 3 times in his career. Barry Larkin only posted a negative defensive WAR 3 times.
