Is that Meso's first throw out on a steal attempt or does it not count since he would have been safe had he not over-slid the bag?

The Votto E leads to 2 unearned runs, then Frazier knocks it out to RF to cut it to 3-2. The way Cozart hit the ball off Santana the last two times, there was no way they were going to let him face a tiring Santana with the tying run on 2B!

They held Votto at 3rd on the BP hit to CF. I guess Berry thought Heisey would have a better chance to knock him in with no out than sending Votto. Bruce coming up to PH for Ludwick and the lefty is coming in. Will Bruce K, DP, or RBI? Patience, Jay!
