It's a long season. Given the injury problems that we've had, the deeper the staff is...the better. You act as if people can't be rotated from starter to reliever. Ot happens all the time.As for the second part, are you suggesting that Pomeranz and White would make us a "really good staff." Really, we'd still need 1 other guy and we'd still be relying on two rookies for a playoff push. Not sure where Wheeler or Sipp come in to the picture. Neither Pomeranz nor White were going in to the bullpen so those two would still be there most likely.
