Kotchman has 2 hits tonight, including an RBI. Start stockpiling supplies. The end is near.

Why is Dan Wheeler on the team? Aside from being the junk pitcher in blowouts. Seriously, it's only a 4 run game.

Interesting report...Mariano Rivera blows out his knee shagging flies in batting practice. It's hard to believe that he is 42 years old. Probably a lot of Yankee fans are going to wonder what he is doing shagging flies.

I'm not a Yankee fan and even I wonder. Though, hindsight is 20/20. You never expect something like that to happen, but then again he could have tore an ACL getting out of bed.HitsRus;1162003 wrote:Interesting report...Mariano Rivera blows out his knee shagging flies in batting practice. It's hard to believe that he is 42 years old. Kipnis has been a stud in the 2 spot. There's no way you take him out of it now

If Damon flounders, I'd like to see Hannahan get a shot at leading off--I've written Brantley off there.

If Kipnis is dropped in the order anytime soon Im gonna flip my shit. Ive got a feeling Damon will do what he has done his whole career. Hit .270 with some decent power for a leadoff guy. Speed is gone, but if he can get on base at a decent clip and work pitchers as the leadoff man thats great. Kipnis has to be #2 or #3, with Asdrubal in the other spot.
