If you had told me the Celtics would win 11 games this postseason I would have slapped you. They have 1 great player and 3 aging vets and zero role player help.

End of an era in Boston?

Looking forward to the Heat - Thunder series though. Meteorologist's dream match up I'd say.

You're not very smart, are you?

My post about getting back on topic was in jest... Which is why I followed up with an OFF TOPIC post. SMH.

Tiger2003;1194240 wrote:Why is Bass guarding LBJ at half court.
IMO, this is what changed the game. This helped the Heat make their run. I don't know why Doc didn't put Pierce on LeBron and have Bass on someone else. KG was on Bosh but had to sag away to help Bass once he got beat and it led to both of LeBron's assists to Bosh.

EDIT: From the highlights it looks like Pierce was on Haslem. Bad coaching decision for riding that matchup for so long.

Boston really could have used another big whether it be Wilcox or J O'Neal(he did suck this year but would have been better than Stiemsma. Outside of KG and the first half from Bass, their post players were nothing to be excited about. They probably wish they could have Perkins back.

For those of you complaining about Dwade bitching... where have you been? He's been doing it for about 6-7 years now. I guess you only notice it more when you're eager to look through the microscope. The majority of them do it anyways. The bigger the star, the more you work them, the bigger the slack. It's nothing new. Just a shame that's the culture of the NBA nowadays.

What a predictable season. 90% of NBA fans would have told you Heat/Thunder in the finals before the season started, and the other 10% were Kobe nuthuggers or unrealistic Bulls fans.

Well, Wade did carry the Heat last year... Especially in crunch time.

That's the NBA. Each year 4-5 teams have a legit chance. The regular season is pretty much a formality... So many teams make the playoffs

Lebron has been the best player in the league for the past several years? Plus a lot of the Robin talk occurred before he played a game

Not against Boston and Chicago, Lebron clearly made all the big plays on both ends in those series while DWade was struggling.
